Hye guys, I just registered celcom home wireless broadband few days ago. Can anyone confirm if I stream youtube and netflix on PC, it deducted either on the internet quota or the video walla quota? Because many people in my house connected to this broadband and I couldnt track the difference on OCS.

QUOTE(crakalatin @ Nov 20 2019, 11:53 AM) The celcom broadband connection at my place is unpredictable. Sometime its good but at times its almost impossible to browse anything. I am thinking of trying the unifi air, the 79/month. Anyone has done this before. Not sure if I can use other simcard in the Celcom modem. you can check the modem info on this link: https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4765406from what I know, for applying unifi air, you need to buy a separate B618 modem from TM which cost around RM500+ but the good news is the modem is unlocked (can use different simcard) edit: just found out from Unifi Air official website https://unifi.com.my/personal/home/wireless-broadband#they seem giving the modem free just like celcom under a certain contract. I've been using Celcom Home Wireless about a year right now, And the half the first year was good for me and my family. Entering the second half, there are breakdown at least once a month, the speed reduced sometimes and I got unstable ping whenever I play some online games which has been terrible for me to play.
For June and July this year, when I realized that I exceeded my monthly quota (150GB),some website that use Video Walla quota (1TB) has slowed down and sometime won't load but the video loading works fine, just it load slower than usual. I had the feeling that website that use Video Walla quota has taken a bit of my monthly quota which pretty much I don't have any control of it.
So, I wouldn't recommended this package for those who want to subscribe this package. A bit overpriced and not enough. In my case, I have to use this package as my area did not have Fibre and Unifi Lite/Air coverage.

QUOTE(Raptor9777 @ Jul 22 2020, 10:31 PM) Hey Im having the same problems as you..before June my average usage is around 100gb per month and somehow this 2 month easily pass 150gb.. i even update all my phone apps using mobile data and the usage still high.. thought of replacing this celcom with maxisone go WiFi..but the speed I'm getting with maxis is 1mbps..which is useless even with no quota limit Now im stuck with 2 internet plan cost around rm159 and rm138 and if want to cancel either one will cost me rm200-300..never thought maxis WiFi broadband speed is abbysymally slow..worst than streamyx I felt like Celcom is cheating during the MCO. I don't understand why these past two months, already exceed the qouta when we didn't use that much. Hopefully they upgrade their qouta or unlimited (probably not in a million year) or just fix this soon. I'm just sick of giving so many complaints to them but they didn't do anything.
