QUOTE(SonicBoom @ May 10 2007, 05:19 PM) this is what i dun actaully want to hear want to make a precise comparison before buying. BTW thx for the advice no point comparing too much of facts...at the end of the day, how u feel when u hold the camera n wat u expect from a camera decides which u wanto buy.... |

to TS: go for D80 ler since budget is not a problem..
advantages: 1. better control of your camera - a few easy-to-reach shortcut such as WB, ISO, QUAL, continuous, metering, AFmode.. - 2 rollers - one for shutter speed.. one for aperture(dunno is it call roller or dial).. - small LCD panel on top of the camera is almost a must for u to easily control the setting.. 2. Kelvin mode in WB - this is very useful as u can set the WB by color temperature.. for more ask shinchan^^ 3. support AF in wider range of lens.. - while D40/D40x just support AF-S otherwise u need to ManualFocus.. - very useful when u buy 50mm f/1.8 4. 18-135mm lens vs 15-55mm lens 5. easier to hold.. so far this is wat i can think of.. will add if can think of any.. QUOTE(shinchan^^ @ May 10 2007, 04:51 PM) more than rm300 ler.. QUOTE(hsienming @ May 10 2007, 04:55 PM) dunno.. i just use 1 AF point no matter what i shoot.. |
