Agena FX is just part of the big plan, AMD K10. agena FX is quad core and if used pair, 8 cores. for normal user, there is Agena, a dualies which can't do support symmetric multiprocessing.

best part that interest me is the R600 stream processor capability. CPU working together with GPU for general purpose computing = high performance !!! but the heat from GPU is another problem though. look like ATi start to benefit AMD

Added on May 11, 2007, 8:37 ambtw, confirmed Agena using socket 940? not mentioned before.. might even use new socket, AM2+ or AM3
