WeChat Pay is something new to me (not a WeChat user). Just wondering if this WeChat Pay e-wallet (connecting using local card) can be used in China as well? Is it the same?

Damn mafan.. How do we bridge this problem if we do not hold a China bank card? Say I am heading to Shanghai next month and I do not have WeChat Pay... Get a friend in China to credit to my wallet?

Damn lame.. I know Tencent does have global ambitions for WeChat so I'd imagine they will start supporting international credit cards eventually (soon), but as it stands today they don’t work. And I can only imagine myself going Shanghai next month pulling out cash like a dolt.
