This is not a good practice where the cashier ask to show the balance or request to hand over our phones which is not supposed to do so. Same goes to credit card where card holder supposed to wave or insert to the terminal themselves instead of handing the card to the cashier, many does not practice here.

Just paid with only RM20 remaining balance through wechat pay this morning at Petron OKR for RM40 petrol. No problem :thumbsup:

Don't need to tell them how much you have in the wechat wallet

Sometimes I wished the cashier not so patient haha (not referring to your case though).

I was queuing for TGV. Super frustrated with 3 feller in front. They spent so long choosing the seats, then forget T&G pin la, not enough credit to pay la, phone no line bla bla bla, they took bloody 10-15 min to get that settled. And I was buying 5.45pm show, they completed their transaction at 6.10pm. Bloody annoying.

That's why I also rather concerned, when so many debating about the RM 40 or RM 20 balance. Just keep RM 40 if not sure, still can cash out later, unless your concern is to ensure promo still available (if no more you will not pump)

Sorry I out of topic, I was using my Maybank promo RM 10, so need to queue.

If I send money to another WeChat users, can I customize the amount? How if I send to my PB Account? And both of those actions, is there any charges applied?

And I just realized that WeChat Out is cheap if only need a hundred minutes per month (compare to telcos plan which is no unlimited call)

My friend said that he couldn't top up WeChat Pay using Standard Charted debit card.

They should have handled it better rather than ending the promotion abruptly. They could have said the promotion will be ending at xxx date, so that people can still utilize the promotion for the very last time.

Yes SB promo was really good, same here that time super disappointed with llao llao campaign and critised them but after that I think they did fairly well.

I can only say extremely poor forecast by most companies. Samsung also one of them, normally duration like 2 months but they end in few days

at petron, they straight away reject me, stating minimum RM40 to pump petrol
