3.3k to 3.7k to 4.4k for 3080 average, now the shit lowtech also at 4.4k for basic card

Playing bf1 on 144hz 3440×1440 monitor is taking a toll on my gpu temp.. (3080 ventus oc)

Room temp, fan 100% = max 78c
Same, tempered glass off = 69c

Ac on, fan 100% = max 69c
Same, tempered glass off = 64c

Case is nzxt h510 with nzxt x63 at front intake. Will it help if I change the intake/exhaust fan to a better aftermarket one? Or is 3080 too hot to pair with this case? Currently using stock nzxt fans that come with the radiator and case. 2x140mm intake and 2x120 exhaust.

I've been saying this several times already. Price hikes affecting Radeon 6700XT and 6800 series do not correlate with mining, as their hashrate is roughly on par with the 3060 (with the unlocked mining driver) and a 3060 Ti respectively, making them horrible buys vs Ampere for Ethereum mining.

Everyone stuck at home worldwide just led to more sales. We saw a bit of this with Nintendo Switches running OOS early last year, but supply could catch up with the increased demand during the first lockdown period worldwide. Right now, we have had materials/component shortage that hit, plus CNY = up to 2 weeks of no production in China, on top of all the increased demand.

You'd be surprised how many gamers out there only buy Nvidia and will never touch Radeon cards.

Micro-Star International (MSI) will raise its graphics card prices to reflect tight supply that may persist through the end of 2021, according to company chairman Joseph Hsu.

Hsu, at an investors conference on March 23, pointed out that end demand for motherboards, graphics cards and gaming notebooks are likely to stay robust for the rest of 2021 and each product line's shipments in 2021, after registering on-year increase between 30-50% in 2020, are expected to see double-digit growths again.
Don't expect GPU prices to normalize any time soon. The AIB themselves going to milk it to maximize revenues. Company & shareholders FIRST ; end-user LAST on their mind.

Done update tuf oc 3080 for resizable bar bios

Mobo 4g encoding enabled before that.(using z390 aorus master, f11n bios)

Reboot pc and getting blank screen, can't see POST at all 🤔

Is your C drive GPT or MBR? Every post I've read so far that has blank screen after enabling reBAR is because their boot drive is in MBR. Disabling CSM and Secure boot enables windows to boot and by pass the GPT checks if your drive is in MBR.

Suggest you disable CSM and Secure boot first, go into windows then convert your boot drive to GPT. Then re enable both CSM and secure boot.

Yes, CSM and Secure Boot caused black screen after the update for me. You can keep CSM off and Secure Boot on after successfully boot with display on your reBAR BIOS.

Since you updated both VBIOS without fixing first one, you will need another GPU to do the settings in the BIOS. Or borrow a rig with built-in GPU and sufficient power supply then reflash back to original on your other VBIOS.

CSM can (and should) be disabled.
Secure boot should always be enabled.
