alienware series all give water cooling right?

How bad is the memory bottleneck for normal 1440p gaming? I also have one R12 (i7-11700F, 3080, 32GB 3200MHz RAM) waiting in production.

Paid almost RM9k for it    sad to hear got this issue.

Raise a case with Dell with supporting evidence. The more people has a support case, then Dell will need to rectify it. Anyway, there’s some light at the end of the tunnel for this issue. According to this post, Dell will release a fix soon.

I posted an update on the hardware thread (copy pasta):

Dell support called me back (I raised a ticket). Dell is aware of the issue and is working on a fix. They said there will be a BIOS update (~1 week).
If you guys haven't done so, do raise a support ticket so that more people can corroborate this. So far I've not seen anyone else posting this.

What I did was I linked the reddit thread & the Dell Forum thread to support and ask them to look into it or I will cancel my order.

I took 3 years in-home service warranty on forumers advice. I also have the liquid cooling version.

Back then why did you not purchase 100 3080 and sell it today? If you did that you would be millionaire by now

Sales rep said the lead time for 3080 is now 13 weeks

I see, my update is as at this morning - sales rep just got an email update saying lead time has been increased to 13 weeks.
Another info, the bottleneck issue has been fixed via BIOS update, but they removed i9 1100KF as an option due to a BSOD issue. It will tentatively be made available again some time in June 

is it just run the Dell update application and check for update?

Accident warranty i think pretty useless. Desktop hardly will get damage that way. Unless laptop then yes.
For me i removed that warranty save abit.

bahaha.. I took it coz I got 2 small kids at home who likes to play with their water bottles n spill it everywhere, so for the peace of mind - a small price to pay

Now my R12 become botak version, just to get more airflow into the rig.

IF my GPU dies *touchwood*, I would just have to re-open my GPU and paste back the sticker right back and ask Dell to replace back the GPU?

I just took the 1 year in home warranty (apparently its just extra) and I could have not taken that as well, but since 80 ash extra I was like why not. I am buying just for the GPU, I will sell everything else. 8226 total.

It took me almost 2 hours to receive the email for my order. But I still haven't got charged on my card yet.

Also joined the YOLO gang today after friend advise to buy first and think later. He told me Dell SG already remove option to configure R12 with 3060ti, 3070, 3080 

I just ordered it. Phew luckily didnt say out of stock. 

RM8700 total include in house 3 years warranty and 2 years accidental damage
