my usual games are PUBG, ETS2 (many mods that high poly focused), PES2021, RaceRoom. usually 1-2 hours of game time per session and pes2021 is the highest and most frequent.

all at 1440p and ultra or high which ever highest. GPU usage around 97-99 %

CM cosmos 1000 casing. i think need to fix the air flow but previous gpu can work normally with the same setup. but already highlighted GDDR6X is much hotter than GDDR6.

temp limit in msi afterburner 83c. power limit 100% but priority on power.

room not all time ON air cond. only at night i ON the air cond.

the 85 only will be reach on random. meaning, not all the time it will run at 85, just spike then came down back. it will came down to 72-77 and that during same load. using MSI AB fan curve.

i have the habit of minimizing my game and do other things, when i does that, the temp will go up. maybe because windows usage? i dont know this, just assume.

what else i left to mention?

yes i agree with u. playing with side panel open manage to pull down to 68c on load. normally around 75c or even 80c running PES.

but i had to trade off with dust. haha i cant tolerate with dust.

anyway i get this case for free in 2007. havent bought or change any case since then. basically i never bought any case in my life.

Anyway my renewal paste and pads still in WIP with testing. Hope can achieve good results. Thanks for your assist. But this card still cant be undervolt properly. Only manage to stable at .975 @ 1900MHz.

i did some test by disabling the hardware accelerator for edge nad it stops the problem. But running edge without hardware accelerator will degrade your browsing performance. So i just turn it back on and ignore the problem.😂
