Is the 3070 Twin Edge by Zotac the only dual slot 3070 so far?

I need to get two cards hence really need it to be dual slot or else it’ll be hard to fit on my x399 which already has another PCIe expansion card...

Not sure if both will be x70 or one of it will be x60, but gotta plan it right...

are these msrp? 3070 eagle also dual slot...tempting...

yep, the dual slot 3070 is tempting, not the price obviously as i need dual slot card. 3k for 3070 is crazy, msrp for Colorful 3080 shud be 3300 iinm XD

im waiting for 3070 eagle non OC at msrp to be available, perhaps early next year. 2.6k is still alot for a 3070 but maybe will reduce a bit by then? since amd also wud have launched their card, and hopefully pressures nvidia somehow to reduce their price haha

had the golden green HX super flower on my NAS for over 5 years (24x7), and now my bro has been using it for over 2 years now (the pc is on almost all the time but not really 24x7)

went with a RM1000X for my new NAS mainly due to price and the fact i needed lots of SATA power cables. and i was purchasing PSU during the mining craze so high end PSUs were hard to obtain at the time. really wanted a 1000W leadex at the time lol

Guys considering the inflated prices for 3000 series now, is 2799 for a gigabyte eagle OC 3070 ok? I believe that's the msrp. If I could just get the non OC version would go fir that, as its msrp is 2599..but so far can't find that.

yeah thats the thing, i wud grab the non OC version if can find, but all shops seems to hav OC one only.

Oh well, spend on elevation speaker for HT this month rather than GPU then to finally get 5.1.2, next month can try again for GPU and see if the stock status is better lol

1060 doesn't have av1 hw decoder while 3060ti has one. YouTube is moving away from vp9 codec for most of their higher resolution /frame rate videos.

Anyway, I wish rtx40 and rdna 3 supports h266 encode/decode but I don't think that would happen....

Lol so 4070 and lower will only be announced once the rtx30 series stock depletes.

And the 12gb vs 16gb rtx 4080 looks like they will have quite a fair bit of performance difference based on the other specs.

We need a comparison between 3090 ti vs 4090 on cyberpunk 4k max settings but with DLSS and RT off. Looks like this comparison would prove rasterization performance uplift may not have been much.

I mean 20 plus fps with RT on shows that even the RT cores are not actually that much improved than Ampere. It would be really hilarious if the 40 series end up being just a ML supersampling upgrade and nothing much else

There are some nicely priced 3080ti also not moving... Perhaps ppl are thinking about comparing with rdna3 and maybe even lower end rtx40. At least for me I'm waiting to see the tdp of the 4060ti and how it compares in perf to my 1070ti.

Hopefully next would be reducing 4080 16gb msrp to 699...lol

Lol you don't even know which tier 3080ti he is using. On top of that even the lowest tier would surely fetch more than that. Its still a better card than anything out there at sub 4k price.

I don't even know how to mine, and all I have are what's on my sig (1070ti on pc and 3070 on laptop)

Thing is you simply assumed he is using a mining card and expected a 3080ti to be sold at 2k...heck even a low tier mining card wouldn't sell that low here 😅

If he is using a mid tier 3080ti,non mining, less 2 years old, I wouldn't mind paying 3k or maybe much more for it. Really depends on the actual card as different cards are built differently (number of pcie ports, VRMs etc.

Anyway won't be replying on this anymore, just sharing my POV.
