Any advice when buying used card/refurbished card?

they only recently started that trend cause no dough bro.
nvidia already has few gen to leap infront.

amd is da master of creating false hype before launch.
they stopped doing that during ryzen 2 series & radeon VII
but now seems like they gonna start again.

i just hope they dont make a mistake with keeping pushing ryzen architecture with more cores/optimization/higher clock instead of making a whole new architecture.

intel whacked amd with core two duo. they never recovered for nearly 10 years.

Nvidia doesn't have to release anything, all they have to do is reduce pricing.

Guys, for those who has rtx 2080/70, what setting when you play gta V with 2k reso? Mine if put to ultra sometimes it drops to 30fps. This game really gfx taxing eh? CPU usage never exceed 60% with i7 8700

Yes. NVidia should come out with better naming instead of using Super. It's really stupid. In this case, can't really blame Palit. If the buyer done their fair share of research, he/she should know Palit been using the "Super" moniker for quite some time. Also, spending that amount of money without finding out what you are actually buying?

I remember Titan X (Pascal) which some reviewers called Titan XP... and then Nvidia proceeded to release an actual Titan Xp

Yes yes... Ultra does sounds better. Way better than Super. Sounds just like that orange dude... It's tremendous... it's big... it's Super.

Upgraded my monitor recently to X34P, playing PUBG 2560x1080p only getting around 80-95fps with GTX970. Is it good time for an upgrade?

Reviews are out... differential is even less than the projected ~7% increase in perf over the OG 2080. It's only a ~5% difference in perf! LOL.

The 2080S is still a card that landed in no man's land, just like the OG 2080. It can't do 4k60 without sacrificing quality, the 2070S can do 1440p60 just as well as the 2080S can but costing a lot less. So what does the 2080S bring to the table? Maxed out Ray Tracing at 1080p60?

What a pointless card. Unfortunately, Nvidia doesn't have to decrease 2080Ti price because there's simply no competition up there.

The only thing that will make me buy RTX is if my card dies with no warranty. As of now, Zotac RTX 2080 Super AMP!. I might even hold back and use my GTX 1070. Wait for 7nm!

Anyone with 10 series pretty much can hold back from upgrading unless you're GTX 1080 Ti, then your option would be RTX 2080 Ti or go buy another 1080 Ti to run SLI.
