I'm also use X34, almost 2 years already with Gigabyte 970 4GB + 1080p 27" monitor + 1200p Oculus Rift.
Most games still can run full resolution 60+fps with a mix high/medium on setting

i've just test play free Destiny 2 games..this one still can achieve 70fps on high setting..i plan might get the RTX 2070 next year to replace 3 years old 970

Upgrade 1070ti first    I just bought during yesterday's Shopee electronic day with rm100 discount. Maybe 11.11 should have bigger discount 

Makes me more itchy to upgrade my i4670k non-overclock rig.

Really eyeing 9600k or 9700k......

hopefully.. for others 10 series & below... they will not degraded the game image quality (by driver or fame setting) for the purpose of 20 series.

I only weekend gamer so I guess that's why my card last abit longer haha. max 6 hours game per week only =(, rest use PC for work haha =(

Finally upgraded my CPU from i7-3770k to i9-9900k. From the graphics score, there's only around 3 fps differences. Does it mean that bottlenecks is quite minimal even with a 3770k?

I'm using i5 4440 + 1080ti, totally bottlenecking my gpu.
planning to upgrade to ryzen 5 3rd gen next year. (perhaps)

Is it worth to temporarily upgrade my cpu?
from 4440 to 4690? or 4770/4790? used obviously.

Bought a used Xeon X5675 CPU on E-bay for USD $30 just for fun.
Using Asus X58 Rampage III Formula motherboard that I bought back in 2009. OCed the CPU to 4.4GHz on air.
Here's the Time Spy result coupled with RTX 2080 Ti.

$699 for essentially a 1080 Ti GPU from AMD.

Good for AMD GPU consumers, finally able to enter the 4K foray albeit may not be 60fps.

AMD literally showed 'easy' games like DMC5 (running over 100fps at 4K) and Forza Horizon 4 for Ryzen. 

My expectation for a 2080 Ti contender from AMD was probably too much I guess.

no need to salty lah, just buy want the market offers that you think is worth. If nothing worth, save money buy expensive food eat.

FYI, Gsync ultimate will cost a bomb to get... Typical example is Acer X27 predator monitor. It's priced at 9999rm or the Asus PG27UQ (11166rm @ c-zone)... Ouch!!!

Tauke, it's gsync ultimate(1000knits HDR brightness, quantum dots back lit, 144hz IPS (not VA) & 4k display)). Not those affordable 4k display which is using VA panel. BTW, it's the cheapest gsync ultimate, wait until you meet those BFGD(big fucking expensive gaming display!? XD). With that kind of pricing range which u can buy a car in bolehland.

if it was sold here.. the price(tax + mark up) *would be* 25000rm+ which is enough to buy a Axia. 

Obviously those kinds of monitor is not aim for mass consumers anyway. To even drive the monitor you need a damn expensive rig as well. I am sure you guys have friends who wouldnt even hesitate to spend that much. I know one guy at least like that but he usually dont buy here in Malaysia, he preorder it from overseas and collected it when goes there for holiday. He said something about discount and rebate etc would save him a lot compared to buying here locally.
