yeah.. their manager and the football they play... full of guts, bravery and balls

by the way, i saw some really digraceful kids who only know BPL thrash talk messi there in the liverpool thread... just one or two games messi did not score against a bpl side and they say he cant cut it... and dare not come bpl. what bullcrap. messi has scored 26 out of 32 matches against top clubs in bpl.. he has played in waterlogged pitch under heavey challenges in la liga too... what the crap is it about he cant cut it in a raining night in stoke.. thats the problem with these idiot kids fans... they think that players who do not play in the bpl is thrash. if that is the case players like cantona, giggs, owen, henry, sheringham were abosulute garbage too for not having played in the serie a during the mid 90s. The Serie A were the best league in the world bar none from the mid 80s to late 90s. Hopeless bunch the next generation of football fans. They dont know respect and they talk so much knowing little  yawn.gif  shakehead.gif  doh.gif
*
>bpl fans
>kids

combine the 2 elements, and yeah, u got a degenerate football fans

Messi probably one of a few in Barca lineup to actually try to win against Liverpool. But of all the magic he got, he's human too at the end of the day

i gotta feeling dat Barca would just be an average or probably mid-top tier team once Messi's gone (either retire with em or moving to other team). That's
speak volume of how crucial he is for Barca

and btw, the Ajax vs Spurs tie were not too bad either

ts true what they say about "attack win u matches, defense win u championship". Ajax failed to defend their 3 goals advantage, but still full credit to Spurs for their never say die attitude

this is the actual football we're looking for instead of a one-sided match which was over after the 1st leg

Why can't this season just be over with..

but since the team already losing interest in the league, hopefully they'll do Atalanta some favor and lose to them too. So they can clinch that UCL spot

and the next week hoping for Quagliarella to score a hat-trick on this team for him to clinch that deserved Capocannoniere

It's such a weird position to be in isn't it?

We've won the league with so many games left to play. It's something that we should be celebrating but it looks like the fans and players alike have lost interest in the season.

I guess we've made the UCL an obsession so much so that the season is considered a failure if we don't win it. Granted it has been too long but we've had other accomplishments this season too.

To add to that, our style of play isn't helping, that and the new kit.

Soon enough we'll know the fate of some players as well as Allegri; Conte joining Inter will be a game-changer next season I think.

It's official guys, Football Italia reports that there will no longer be Mr. Allegri as our coach next season.

As much as I crave the UCL and that he has not delivered it in the 5 years he has been our coach, I still thank him for the Scudetti and memories.

My fear I guess is now that Conte might return. Apparently he was waiting for a decision by the club on Allegri before signing for Inter.

Who knows, he might have changed as a coach in the last 5 years.

Interesting and nerve-wracking times.

Will Dybala stay? Will Benatia come back?

with him gone i think the player like Dybala would likely stay. Not sure about Benatia resigning though..but if the club can re-signed that snake Bonucci last year,
don't rule out anything else

hopefully it wouldn't be Conte...our CL hope might be slimmer with him than Allegri lol

Out of the many names linked to us recently, who would be your top pick?

For me, I'd say either Zidane or Guardiola. But I think they are highly unlikely to join as they're committed to their teams already.

after 4 years (i'd excluded 2014-15) of dull football by Max, i'd welcomed any new change with an open arms

welcome Maurizio "The Chain Smoker" Sarri

obviously pep guardiola is the dream but sarri aint too bad... i agree with you, looking forward to better football next season. As for winning the serie a title, that might be disrupted but that might be a small sacrifice for attacking football moving forward. We must really shed the defensively solid tag... as we can see clearly, attacking teams win cups like CL, Europa smile.gif thumbsup.gif

ah man, if its up for me, winning the treble is a dream. But at this rate i'd scrap the potential local trophies
for the coveted UCL trophy

and winning it by playing offensive football like Liverpool did this season would be quite a bonus

indeed... i rather forgo the serie a for the CL too. We last won the CL in 96, that was way too long for a club of our size. Whats worse was we actually went to 5 UCL finals along the way and lost all 5 due to our defensive nature. Defensive mindset dont win cup competition... a fact max allegri found out at the cost of his job and now our big boss agnelli seem to have finally realized sweat.gif thumbsup.gif

Adrian Rabiot seems closer & closer to sign for Juve

with the midfield consisting of Pjanic, Can, Bentancur, Khedira, Matuidi, Ramsey, i think some of that name are leaving..

**or perhaps with Sarriball playstyle Juve will using the 3-5-2 or 4-5-1 or 3-6-1 setup to stack that midfield...who knows..

Sarri played 4-3-1-2 at Empoli and 4-3-3 at Napoli and Chelsea. So I would expect the same at Juve, a 4-3-3

At the base of the midfield he likes to use a Regista. Jorginho is obviously his favourite and one of the world's best. We might again see Pjanic being converted and deployed there. Sarri will then need a box to box like Allan at Napoli and a attacking minded central midfielder like Hamsik to make late runs into the box. So there is a high chance we will see Ramsey/Rabiot doing that Hamsik role. As for box to box we are being linked to Pogba or Nbombele. Or pogba will play in the hamsik role with Rabiot swtiching to the box to box. Whatever it is, Matuidi (he and khedira make good runs into the box but always cant finish to save their live), Can or Khedira will not be sufficient. They have high energy but are very slow and all have very poor technical abilities (passing and first touch and ball control and sometimes dribbling). They are Allegri type of players Sarri's midfielders need to be quick, high tempo and have great technical ability

Chelsea: Matteo Kovacic (attacking minded central mid), Jorginho (regista) and Ngolo Kante (box to box)
Napoli: Marek Hamsik (attacking minded central mid), Jorginho (regista) and Allan (box to box)
Potential Juve mid: Pogba/Ramsey/Rabiot (attacking minded central mid), Pjanic/Bentancur (converted regista) and Tanguy Ndombele/Rabiot/Matuidi/Sergej Milinkovic Savic (box to box)

So we should expect another one or two more midfielders coming in as the ones we have cant play sarri ball smile.gif

Upfront Dries Mertens was converted from a winger to a small size false 9. We might see Dybala doing that role or he gets sold for Icardi or Higuain might be used again. Left wing is CR7 without a doubt and right wing will be Bernadeschi or D Costa. Both should be playing angle balls to the far post for CR7 to poach just like how lorenzo igsigne did for jose callejon just that the positions and reversed. This will be a very interesting transfer window for us
