James & Ramsey definitely would add depth & upgraded Juve midfield. With James playing as #10 Dybala can play in his favorite SS position

Sandro Tonali (Pirlo so-called "reincarnation") is on Juve/Paratici radar too
heheh if u remember not too long ago when it comes to transfer rumours Juve got linked with nearly all the player on the face of the earth laugh.gif

Awesome two '3-0' wins to gear up for Atletico.

Read that the 'Ultras' didn't celebrate and ordered others not to celebrate when Dybala scored? They're are protesting the increase in ticket prices apparently. Part of the stadium was empty too because of this.

I guess, I can't really say much since I've never paid for a Serie A ticket match before.

Anyone know how much it cost before and how much now?

brilliant goals by both "Pauliano Dybaldo", considering they both kinda merged their goal celebration now laugh.gif

and tough luck Khedira, got that goal "stole" from him by Bonucci. i don't mind who scored tbh as long as the goal came for Juve

as for the ticket price hiked, yeap, part of the protest coming from Ultras bcoz of this

not sure about the ticket prices but reading this article, the cheapest seats in Serie A cost 20 euros while the most expensive are 140 euros (that's Juve stadium definitely)

I think the merged goal celebration is such a nice way to honour each other's efforts hehehe. I hope to see more of it from both of them. And I'm so glad for Dybala's goal, I hope it turns his season around in some way and he starts scoring more. Hate that he's been linked with other clubs and of all players...a swap with Icardi?!?

Not sure what to say about the ticket price hike, maybe the management needs to take note of it perhaps.

It's gonna be a tough match for sure, I mean, Atletico have a good foundation from their coaching staff to their players; and I've always admired Griezmann for his hard work.

I think the biggest challenge for me is to wake-up for the match blush.gif

By the way, saw a clip of Del Piero also at Madrid and meeting with Nedved, Chiellini, Bonucci, Dybala and Paratici on the pitch. Good times.

wow, getting nervous heading to the UCL tonight

many ppl predicted(including me) that Atletico-Juve draw gonna be a boring, dull tie.
But this match probably gonna surprised some of us tonight

i guess many were surprised that Liverpool-Bayern ended scoreless last night though laugh.gif

anyway, the predicted lineups

--------------------------Szczesny--------------------------
De Sciglio-----Bonucci-----Chiellini-----Alex Sandro
-----------Bentancur----Pjanic------Matuidi------------
--------------------------Dybala-----------------------------
------------------Mandzukic---Ronaldo------------------

its about time our front three get a name for themselves.

D.M.C? laugh.gif

No kidding man, I'm actually getting nervous as well. The more I read, the more I realise Atletico is a tough match.

I think I can get used to DMC, RUN DMC hahaha.

4am kick-off... Arghhh. I think it is do-able.

tbh this Juve under Max Allegri didn't really looked convincing in UCL even with the acquisition of Cristiano

lets see which Juve gonna show up in 2 weeks time in Turin

I think both teams had pretty good chances to score; Atletico controlled the match in the first half and I think we started the second half better. Somehow though, they made the most of their chances. I think after this match, I have to admit that our chances of going further in the knock-out stage, never mind winning the UCL, has dropped a bit. Sad to admit but yea.

could've been worse tbh

Costa squandered the 1 vs 1 chance. Griezmann hit the bar (credit to Szcezsny too), and Morata "soft" foul prior to his disallowed goal

its could've been a 4-0 for Atletico, and with that scoreline this tie is over

Agreed with all points above. Hear-stopping moments during that Costa one-on-one and Griezmann's crossbar shot, not to mention anxiously waiting for VAR on Morata's foul.

I think 2-0 will still be hard to come back from, although never say never. But what worries me more is our form actually. During the last 10 minutes we were scrambling for an away goal - which I felt should have been done earlier.

No need to hope for miracle.. we are done/out of the CL

Juve and its italian style and italian defensive manager Allegri will never win another CL if they dont change their mentality. Back in those days a defensive 1 nil mentality win you titles, CL and world cups.. nowadays it is a dinosaur tactic to use but allegri / mourinho still insists on them. they never learn n they probably never will. You know why we have more league titles than CLs and milan have more CL than titles? that is because juve and milan have always been traditionally different. One is a defensive team (defense wins you leagues) and one is an attacking team (great attacks win you cups)

Until Juve start moving into a more attacking identity i must accept that we will probably never win another CL again. It is all about attack nowadays in the european stage. We can have ronaldo, messi, mbappe, neymar and still lose CL stages and finals if we dont change the mindset of defense first attack as a bonus nonsense sweat.gif yawn.gif laugh.gif

Yea, that's the thing man. I feed like a broken record every time I say it. Always last minute scramble for goals when we could have finished it off earlier.

On another level though, I am definitely grateful for what he has done over the last few years, I mean 4 straight scudetti is still no joke. It's just that we've gotten so used to it that we now want and I guess are fixated over winning the first UCL in over 20 years, that the scudetti (despite what everyone says) is somehow not enough and the UCL will be the icing on the cake. I dunno if Zidane is still an option since he's linked with Chelsea and Paratici himself has said that regardless of how we do in the UCL, Allegri will stay at the club.

It will be one heck of a game not to concede against Atletico and win by a margin of at least 3-0.

But it's never over till it's over I guess hehe.

That being said though, my expectations about us going further in the UCL, never mind winning it, has definitely dropped, and for good measure too because I don't want to keep my hopes up and then fall short and will be doubly disappointed.

yeap, not to discredit Max whatsoever, but i think right now the quote from The Dark Knight are spot on

"You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain."

i think its about time Agnelli & Co try to do a different approach for UCL. Max's method already tried & tested and its all the same ol' same ol' every season

regardless of who they appoint as Juve manager next, that person probably gonna win the Scudetto, or alteast ahve 70% chances of winning it, but at this point
of time fans didn't really care about the prospect of Juve winning another Scudetto (yet again), but we're craving for that UCL trophy really..really bad
