Yea, Bernardeschi has really improved since last season. It's almost as if he got revelation over the summer break and came back a new player. I mean, he was struggling for playing time last season and now, he's almost a constant starter. As for Dybala, I'm not sure what he's going through mentally or physically, it would be a shame to see him sold off next season. He needs to find his form again and I'm sure his teammates are helping him with it. As for Cuadrado, he can at times be the best player on the pitch and at other times, totally lost - not sure what's going on there but I hope he finds his consistency soon. We need players hitting their form for the crucial matches incase the regulars aren't able to start - at least there is a world class back-up in their stead.

ya.. i want dybala to step up too... it will be hell for opponents if berna, ronaldo and dybala can combine instead of just berna and ronaldo

I didn't get to watch the match due to the timing, but goals aside, how was our midfield? Some camps are saying that we are playing to make Ronaldo look good rather than building a strong midfield - which means we'll struggle against teams which are mentally and tactically tougher/better organised. I only saw the highlights so could not really judge the team's performance. How was Perin by the way - saw a couple of good saves.

Interesting that Dybala did not do the Dybala mask after he scored. But I'm glad he got his first goal; we need all of them firing during the UCL.

It'll be tough against Napoli but in some ways, I'd also like to see how we stack up against them; they are still close on our tails and prove to be our toughest competitor for the last 7 years.

The midfield is ok since the opponent is not that strong. Matuidi being his usual self, Pjanic is commanding the attack and Bentancur is more like a b2b midfield.

Dybala was playing much lively and tried to start some attacking plays. Gave away some balls but much better than previous game. The goal surely offload a huge amount of pressure off his back, hence the celebration.

I wouldn't say we are accommodating CR7 but he's clearly adapting to our play style. A few shots here and there won't hurt that much. But he's drawing so much attention which ends up his teamates are having a lot of spaces. You should watch how much of space Cancelo was having at the wings.

Hehe, maybe that's a good thing, gives the other players a chance to shine.

Just read that Ronaldo is banned for only one UCL game, which means he misses Young Boys but can play against Man Utd. That'll be interesting.

fact is ronaldo needs to shine. a peak dybala or a mandzu or a costa or a bernadeschi still cannot compare to a peak ronaldo. he needs to score and he needs to stay happy. its good to see the whole club behind him as he is facing an enormous amount of pressure..... once he is fully integrated be it this season or next, we should see the best of him. it is not unresonable for us to expect alot from him because he is after all the greatest goal scorer of the current time and the second highest paid player in the world at 500K pounds per week. our second highest paid player is only at 100K+ per week. a whole big of difference

getting ronaldo is just another step to joining the big money boys (man city, man utd, real, barca, psg and fc bayern)... dont forget the shopping mall, the various new partnerships, the new J hotel that were opened recently...

TBH, I don't expect CR7 to perform like it's La Liga. The defense and tactics won't let him do so, especially when he's 33. He has nothing else to prove except to win a UCL for 3 different clubs. If you look back into history, Juve was a sugar daddy club ages ago

Pretty much a typical max setup kinda game. A giveaway from Bonucci which end up letting Napoli scored.

MM17 again proved he's the most reliable during big games. 2 assist from CR7 including another indirect assist after hitting the post. Lol

The game was ended after Rui was sent off. Napoli was too afraid to go all out knowing we will be hitting them on counter attack.

7 wins out of 7 games. 6 pts ahead from the 2nd place Napoli.

Now we can focus on this midweek UCL against Young Boys.
