Is it normal for those who bought zitron or avaxx units to have diff product code?

Thought product codes are meant to identify the region.

Does anyone know how to type sms in numbers instead of using the manual typing and pressing till it turns into a number?

In my 1100 I could select insert numbers. in N95 i cannot find such an option.

Also anyone with any to my problem where I normally keep the N95 in its original leather pouch in my pocket. Sometimes while I'm on the phone via bluetooth headset, it will auto disconnect and I assume it is due to me accidentally pressing on the red button.

Any way of preventing this apart from taking the phone out of my pocket?
the keys are locked already when this happened.

the standalone devices like Garmin Nuvi 360 can actually spells the route name and say, eg "300m turn right into Jalan Ampang"?

do they get the pronunciation correct? laugh.gif

im just curious to know smile.gif

Garmin Nuvi 360 have multiple voices that are already inside the Nuvi as well as downloadable. I use the British voice, she pronounces it the way i like it. Nevertheless, "Ampang" is sitll pronounced "Empeng" tongue.gif

Yo Bro, may I know to get these software and it is free of charge??? Thanks a million...

These are not softwares, they are hardwares. As for maps, you can do no wrong with the maps from the hardworking dilligent folks at Malsingmaps. Their Malaysia map, loaded onto the Garmin Nuvi 360, is FLAWLESS! The Nuvi will speak all the roadnames!

Sorry for the OT, but it is to answer those GPS-related Qs.

do check out this site.
Its a nokia site that allows you to create your own bar code.

I tested it and my N95 could recognise it.

found the barcode scanning software afterall

what i'm really missing is the welcome application.

Nokia N95 Wins TIPA Award

Nokia today revealed the Nokia N95 multimedia computer has been voted the 'Best Mobile Imaging Device in Europe 2007' by TIPA (Technical Image Press Association), the largest photo and imaging press association in Europe.

"A small mobile wonder and a camera as well," the Nokia N95 multimedia computer was commended for its outstanding imaging functionality, comparing its features directly with those of stand-alone cameras. The judging panel noted features such as the autofocus lens for sharp, large prints, a real
mechanical shutter to avoid distortion, the Carl Zeiss optics with Tessar lens that can focus at close range and the up to 20x digital zoom for distant subjects. The panel also commented on the device's outstanding audio, video and web capabilities and its GPS functionality.
