QUOTE(smashpOp @ Apr 15 2007, 11:26 AM) hey congrts on getting your new phone. hehe I also used N93i for almost 2 month but let me say N95 rocks more than N93i..firstly the flip and slider..i prefer slider because one hand use also can, secondly the screen is bigger than N93i and also the wordings...hehehe. And lastly the picture is a bit better only....i rest my case.... so u prefer to use your own headphones to play music? you can actually plug it into the n95 u know? it does have the 3.5mm jack i agree.. GPS is too slow if u need information fast. ahha but its good if u r travelling in some other countries other than malaysia.. and u can actually waste some time when u r bored at home.. just open the maps.. n look thru the roads n buildings n get familiarise with the roads.. (no ned to connect to gps since u already have the maps in ur phone) i like holding the n93i in camera mode too. looks more professional. ahha erm for ur info, n95 records video at 640x480 too. |

QUOTE(goliath @ Apr 17 2007, 09:21 AM) IMHO, just bear with it. Even if you get a solid set, the slider will become loose after some time due to wear and tear. Tell me which handphone in the market is damn good without any complaint received...NONE? If you all are like handphone freak so face the picture. I have been using so many fones until ppl think that i so crazy until spend almost my saving buying fone. Complaint is a lot of course..but still buy fone..So if you find phone faulty go to SC to repair it. But pls keep u in mind not always Nokia replaced u with new set unless hopeless case only... |

[I was just wondering ... is there anyone using EON Bank credit cards here? Before u jump to the wrong conclusions, no, I`m not selling credit cards ... merely I am a card holder of the said bank and in their most recent promo leaflet that comes with my statements, the N95 was one of the phones featured for a 24month interest free program. If I calculate correctly, at RM120.++ x 24 months, the price will add up to around RM2.7k ... that`s like the price of an AP unit & I have my doubts that a reputable bank will sell AP units. So I called them up & sure enough, the CS ppl confirmed that the unit is original from Zitron. An ori for RM2.7k? Can this be true? Anyone else encounter this scenario before?
[/quote] If inot mistaken that CSL is selling their own set (AP) but heard rumour that they might get authorized dealership from Nokia. But till no news lor....me also getting all these installment free with credit card...but some look genuine.... |

QUOTE(sonyclie77 @ Apr 17 2007, 11:01 PM) CSL was O'Conors, the ex-authorised distributor of Nokia phones back in the monochrome Nokia phone's days. Yup, let us wait and see ah? By the way, have anyone know why I-Mobile didn't get N95 under their wings ah??? Heard they will face out from Nokia Wings lor... Doubt Nokia will give the distributorship to the same bunch of guys again. But we'll see. |

QUOTE(sonyclie77 @ Apr 17 2007, 11:29 PM) I too read that they're out of the picture since 1st April 2007. No lah, still got Zitron and Avaxx mah..check :http://3lib.ukonline.co.uk/tipsn95.htm Not sure why is that so. So there's only 1 authorised distributor for the N95 now? for those N95 user out there???? |

QUOTE(kenso77 @ Apr 18 2007, 09:04 AM) Question: I plugged a 3.5mm headphone to the phone about 2 days ago and after removing the headphone, the phone could not use its normal microphone. That means the user can only hear what ppl r saying from the other line but the other person could not hear her reply. The problem was finally rectified when we re-plug the headset back onto the phone and manually activate the handset setting. What I`m puzzled is that: Then if you found out is not Zitron nor Avaxx. F...K the Bank lor.....then tell the whole world that the Bank play you out.1) the phone could not automatically revert back to handset setting after removing the headphones? 2) no settings in the handset to manually reconfigure the settings back to handset mode? My colleague is now damn pissed at me for plugging the headphones to her phone and inadvertantly screwing up the settings & has refused to let me even touch her phone. I could no longer investigate the reason for this. If the headset really does change the setting PERMANENTLY until replugged again, then this phone is truly not user friendly. What if u`re in a rush and accidentally left ur headset home or something, then u`re screwed for the whole day. Anyone can verify? Added on April 18, 2007, 9:08 am Problem is, card holders cannot physically check or collect the phones once confirmed so no way to verify the authenticity of the phones visually. It`s a weird policy but that`s how they intend to do this installment free thingy so have to take their word for it. |

QUOTE(goliath @ Apr 18 2007, 10:41 AM) I don't about you. But I've called Maxis (123) and they've sent those settings to me via SMS. I've saved it. Restart my phone and still can't use the 3G. All I get is 'Packet Data: Packet Data connection not available.' I mean that I didn't call up the Maxis at all to get the setting. Added on April 18, 2007, 10:54 amWait.. Can I use 3G to surf the net besides using GPRS? I'm blur now |
