My main concern is that whether the base 1.5L non-turbo version be underpowered and hence less fuel efficient

If spec above is true confirm later got V Sensing variant, just like city and city hatchback

they should make all variant turbo like civic. if e variant is natural, nobody will buy

Made a booking with local sa. But still unsure on whether to take this or the crv 2.0.

Made a booking for RS Hybrid in the weekend.

Still unsure should look at the cross hybrid or others.

Have looked at subaru XV, not my taste

Test drive the CRV, then the late model HRV (i think 2017 model). Felt the CRV is for more mature/older uncle. HRV seems more 'fun' to drive. I saw the 2018 Vezel before, felt the build quality wasn't that good. But this time, hope the new vezel/hrv 2022 is better.

Yes toyota is boring, i guess comes with peace of mind that its reliable, it works. Also considering late model rx350 or rx450h. But will test drive the cross hybrid this weekend. heard the waiting list around 5-7 months long.

Going for the safer options which means only toyota or honda 😅 keen on mazda cx30 but rear seat is not comfortable.

Like you said, cross interior is dull and small. Almost similar to my current jazz. Crv sells me on the huge interior, huge centre console, seats with lumbar support, easier to maintain NA engine and price. Less than 140k for a crv is a steal lol.
