@satish87,
shocking.gif Your iPod Nano so dirty you had to give it a wash, with bonus tumble and spin dry too? *kEKekekek*

There's no harm taking it back for warranty claims but before you do that, please make sure the inside's completely dry - otherwise you'll have to come up with an excuse on the spot. If you can't get it 100% dried, then the little parts which are damp, u probably can get away with excuses such as, I got caught in the rain while I was out jogging, etc etc - just don't tell them it went through an entire full wash! Or, if u decide to, tell them AFTER u walk out with a brand new replacement *g* biggrin.gif

Good Luck and be more cautious next time round ya? nod.gif

@satish87,
Try to google and learn how to open it - the faster u can dry the iPod, the better it is for u. Also, don't switch anything on until it's completely dry - perhaps try using a hairdryer or something? Check how many days you'll need cause 1 night is definitely NOT gonna be sufficient.

Good Luck!

@satish87,
Do NOT plug it onto a power supply unit and let the battery drain by itself. With NO battery, it's not possible for the iPod to automatically turn itself on - if so, then I suppose it's good news - u won't ever need to charge ur iPod and it can be left on forever!

Just cause it works (other than the auto turn on), it doesn't mean the circuits inside are completely dry. It may still be damp and will certainly need more time - don't let your impatience ruin your iPods 2nd chance to live! biggrin.gif

@satish87,
Great! Just be more cautious now and don't even think about giving the iPod of urs another wash! *grins* tongue.gif

Change the batt if u think that's causing u problems - wouldn't want the battery to malfunction and cause the entire iPod to die on u - having said that, I'm really no iPod person so have no idea how and where the battery's even located - u'll know better so make a good decision now smile.gif
