Is it normal to have crack/click sound when you, move your joints?

I never had this problem but more than a month ago i went jogging and i push myself too hard and i hurt my knee. I actually dont feel anything pain during walking but only when i start running i feel the pain below and side of the knee cap. Coupled with that was the clicking/cracking sound when i straighten my knee and then bend it, it feels like two bones was in contact with one another.
I went to see a doctor and he basically said its no big deal. Probably something like meniscus sweilling. he gave me anti sweilling medicine and said rest for 4 weeks should heal on its own.
So its more than 4 weeks now the pain has completely gone, i can do slow jogging now but i dare not try sprinting yet. But the clicking/cracking thing remains whenever i straighten my knee and then bend it. It doesnt hurt, its just annoying, feels like some part of your joints are not correctly aligned.
During the period where i cant jog, i went to work out on my upper body strength. Basically i did alot of push ups, probably again hurt myself in the process because there was a few days the muscles around my shoulder/tricep was hurting really bad, and now i have the same problem with my shoulders. When i do a a full swing of my arms, at certain angle i get that cracking/clicking thing on my shoulders but i cannot say for sure if this is normal/ pre-existing as i dont swing my arms often.
Is any of these normal at all?

I used to have them sometimes. I don't think it's anything to worry about. Maybe you can start emphasizing flexibility in your workouts from now on...

my ankles & wrist can click if i twist it the right way. it'll click anytime i wanted to
maybe coz i'm too skinny but it was never painful
your knee sounds are definitely frm your injury and it may very well be permanent
i had something similar with my jaw when i fell years ago. my jaw clicks on the right side now if i move it in a certain way
for me as long as there's no pain i'm fine with it but of course i'll refrain from straining those joints unnecessarily
i do run 5k a week and sometimes if my knee is painful it'll go away within 3 days
i'd suggest you do more leg strength training to prop your muscles better b4 resuming your runs maybe for this month and see if the clicks subside

Are you practising proper form and technique? Are you pushing way above your capability? Check your alignment of your body when you workout whether upper or lower body.
