Hello everyone, I'm Tricia.

Lately, I feel like my depression is coming back to me again so I want to stop it before my situation is getting worse. There're neither psychologists nor psychiatrists at my town and I don't know what to do.

I told my parents before at last year because my situation was more worse than now but they will just only think and say I'm a crazy girl because I want to see a psychologist. So I'm feeling so lost right now, I tried to ask my friends to help me but they are busy with their studies so I can't lie on them too much.

I'm so afraid that I will get depression again, it's already affecting my studies and my emotions. That's why is there anyone who can suggest me what should I do?

Well thank you.

Hi Tricia, if you simply need somebody to talk to, please feel free to PM me. I can lend you a listening ear. Do not worry I will not judge. I have been through what you are going through before and I can empathize.

It may or may not be depression... get a doctor's diagnosis to make sure. Government also has counselling and other mental health services: http://mmha.org.my/resources/directory-of-...lling-services/

Look up for the nearest one to you.

Try to talk to your school/uni counselor. They might not be able to treat your condition, but at least they can help in arranging something, at the very least referring you to a doctor.

Good idea. thumbsup.gif Physical problem can mess with your head too!
I remember reading one book written by a psychiatrist, he got one crazy experience: accidentally treated a patient with orange juice.
Turns out the patient has low blood sugar, high enough not to pengsan but low enough to mess with the brain. Glucose drip 1 day & go back home sane again...

Got other causes also, thyroid problem is quite common, chronic infection also....

So go get yourself checked!
