Good news! ferrari 2009 shell promotion is back!!!!

got myself 360 GTC early this morning.. this time the front wheel can actually turn left or right by pressing a button on the bottom of the chasis (battery operated).. bravo bravo!

same price RM 8.90 each with minimum of RM 40 petrol purchase.. 5 model to choose from with 2 extra special model for Helix motor oil purchase.

the heat of the ferrari is finally back!

the actual promotion will only launch by later next week.. today is the first day selling... yup.. website nothing yet.. even on singapore no news yet. so maybe malaysia really is first!

a bit different from last year..

so far i remember:

fxx evolution - known as fxx 2nd generation ( in red and different paint job from 2008 ver. but very minor & most obvious is the white bumper)



f-360 GTC ( red but with different overall side skirt and big racing spoiler - no racing strips)



f-430 scuderia ( with different bumper styling compare with 2008 ver. - with racing strips)


f 599 ( black again... very similar with 2008 ver. wonder why they repeat this )

1 unknown model.. very similar outlook like the 599.. plain metallic grey body

behind the box there is a F1 car (not sure about which year model)... but station's poster not mention on it... and also the counter not selling it.

* 2 special model: another f-430 scuderia in racing strips & yellow 599.... why..why they promote 599 so much?? (why not the new california!?)

i try to ask for a promotion leaflet for details.. counter guy tell me not available yet.

morning... posting my 1st grab yesterday.. since the promotion just started and normally will last for 2 months.
i will take time to complete the collection.. if complete too fast no more fun on the following weeks

yup.. same scale as last 2 years.... just that this time because of the wheel turning featues... so the tyre thickness is thinner for this new series (except the f1) .. last year's is more realistic in term of tyre details.

the F1 model in the promotion is based on the 2008 ver. not the latest 2009 F-60 which is the slimmest F1 car in the history of Ferrari F1.

HAHA.. ME ALSO GOT A BIG SHOCK when first time know about the F-60.. it is like they throw away all the aero dynamic parts and they even shrink the rear spoiler.. if this car can get good results this year.. next year all team cars will kurus kurus liao

yup.. me agree too.. i did expect the promotion to come back this year.. but never expect 2 599 model again this year..

me tot got chance for a yellow F-355 or a yellow dino classic.. that will much sweeter than a yellow 599

great detail on the F1 2008 but this f1 model don't have the new steering features. only the old pullback trick.. no engine sound too.

yup... but the station i buy no FXX and 599... hmmm.. the other way round.

but after so long in your car which expose to sunlight... the red plastic colour still ok?

yes. then if u want reset the memory.. just turn off the on off switch and on again for default.. i am very surprise with the features by selling at this price.

hi..... fellow trofosi...

to celebrate the release of yellow enzo and f1 2008 model tomorrow..

i give u this..... my own custom paint fxx...

start this little project when i wonder how this model will look like if in black paint.. so took out my tamiya acrylic paint and after 3 hours of work.
it is a bit difficult when come to masking the tiny white strips and all the tiny puny ferrari logos... had to hold my 'nafas' when painting those area..
and because i cant give a spray a base coat before apply the semi gloss black, due to those logos and strips already there.. if not the end results will be much better.

anyway.. happy with the black 'Schumi' FXX evolution now.. since this year FXX model is a bit plain when compare with 2008 model..
and if you look closely to my attached photos... you will realised i do custom paint the 2008 version also.. ( give it a black head lights, black semi gloss rim, and painted side air ventilation hole )
- reason is i really don't like fxx with silver rims.. tak cukup tough look... hehehe

is there really a official garage other than that RM60 which is selling now??? me heard nothing about it until today. wish it is true...

will start a repaint of the 612 soon... because the grey plastic bodyframe is sooooo ugly... really tak boleh tahan..

and my opinion here... for those who still keep their car nicely in the box.. for the purpose of collection.. pls... if can take em out for display or at least experience the special features abit... rather then plan to keep em in 5 to 10 years and wait for the collector prices to go up...

why do i say this..? is because after i get on hold this collection for quite a while now.. i can feel that the overall material (the plastic and the rubber tyres) is really in bad quality.. especially the tyres.. will definitely start to decal say after 5 years (keluar minyak) + our local weather is extremely humid lately = increase the speed of decay.

so my point is.. since these car price is not costing your fortune to get it... play with them now.. rather than regret in later years by letting em spoil just like that... very sayang one..

just my 2 cents... not to offend anyone thoughts.

nowadays tamiya's acrylic paint is a bit hard to get... but i still see a model shop at 1 utama new wing underground shop selling em.. each bottle is around RM17.90...

toycity also got sell.. but their colour range is mostly not complete.

but my housing area this morning i went to see.. the yellow enzo is total black in wind screen and no interior... is that mean there is mixture of 2 version???

morning guys...

last night manage to start another custom paint project...
yellow enzo repaint based on the 2008 Ferrari Enzo Edo Competition. although the rims is different design.. but no choice le.. hehe
i had painted the front & back wind screen with black bars (paint from inside) to recreate the original windscreen look of the enzo.
then again give a black rims and painted the side intake hole. but this morning when published the photos only realized miss out painting the rear lights..

for those who had bought the 09 garage.. may i know those gold plate with car names can easily take out or not? because i plan to buy one just to display multi version of enzo and fxx...
