yup.. i use a blade to cut em apart.. but the blade must be sharp end one. since the plastic material for the spoiler is quite soft.. so no prob... then use any modeling cement to glue it.. u can also use super glue to get the job done.

paint i use tamiya acrylic water based paint.. the tamiya shop at one utama's new wing underground basement shop got sell.. around 17.90 each

i use brush.. u can also use spray if u can cover those small tiny ferrari logo well.

Wow....haven't been here for a while. So many pictures of modified Ferraris here.

Hmm...from LYN Shell-Ferrari Model Cars Thread to "LYN Modified Ferrari-Model Cars" Thread? hmm.gif
Pictures of usual Shell "Standard-Model" Ferraris are getting less now, not until the next version(2010).

Keep it up. thumbup.gif

Just bought a yellow enzo today.

When I go home and check I notice that the rear rim is different from the front rim design.

This means that there's an error on my yellow enzo.

So if I intend to sell my car later, does this mean that I can fetch a higher price? brows.gif

the pirelli logo are not self made stickers.. first i find the logo from the net.. then measure the size i need for the car & edit with adobe photoshop..(with refer to sample finish model from the net too)
- then just use normal printer to print out.. apply cellophane tape on top of it for protection. then apply double sided tape behind it.. wah la... THE STICKER IS DONE!!

the problem with the rough surface is due to the glossy surface of the original body.. it act a bit like oil surface when i paint on it and is bit difficult to control the smoothness. normally a tamiya paint wont cause this uneven finish results.. i cant paint the whole body with spray can due to those ferrari tiny stickers around.

all i can advise is dont paint too thick the first round.. more thin layer is better with one thick layer of paint...

happy customised!! and happy tuesday!!

the bottom part very simple to get.. is a artwork framing use's called mounting board.. all stationary shop can get.. just that because it is a bit thick.. cutting curve line need more care.. a good sharp blade is a must!

oooh!...how bout if u spray the entire body then remade the ferrari logo the same way u make for "pirelli"? izit sounds better?

anyway.. i think u can offer to help people do the modification dy..u can do ur hobbies/interest as well as experiments on the modification style; and earn some pocket money, then others collectors will happy to collect da modified models. 4 in 1...hahaha..

Good work! and thanks for sharing! thumbup.gif

thanks for your compliments... the ferrari logo that original on the body is very sharp in printing.. the one if i print from own home printer cant match the fine quality.. that y i decide to keep the original logo.
