It was year 2002. That time only US server got play, so I have to go to Low Yat's Ezone to play. So I got like 6 years experience now. And I am 23 now. Still feeding like nubs. |

Actually the current generation and the new generation gap in gaming experience is very small. Unlike the prev generation like my dad , video games were very limited and only appear when they were like 30. In my generation however, we witness the rise of the Internet. We witness the games console of ps, xbox and various other computer games from ultima, karateka, castle wolfenstein, quake, doom and command and conquer. These games are the origin of the range of other modern games you see today with the exception of MMORPG. We know why in a GUI OS like Vista, there is still "cmd.exe", after all my generation is the generation that defines the groundwork of all that we see today in IT technology. Thus, i wont be surprised Dota is playable by those in 1970s till date, computer games after all a part of my generation as much as yours. CodeMagnet. |

Started 11 years old but quited due to clan mates and friends quiting it too.... so boring repeat again and again ... rather play WoW as you can stay level 20 and log off the other day you login its 20 again and you can level up

once i saw an a middle aged guy in cc using zeus. he was chain lightning the creep non stop. later i realised its wtf mode.

What's the problem, it just a game and we're all playing it no matter what age and got gf or not. When we're free we go DotA, just for fun. Many people just play 'too-hard'... Oh me 20 already.
I gonna finish my Diploma real soon, and it's my last few weeks to enjoy this game with my juniors. So, let's just enjoy while it last =) |

I cant remember when I started to play dota lol..
I still remember when I start the game the silencer is the most gay hero in the game one.. can cast 3 infernal.. lol.. And the rikimaru also.. too gay.. haha! I still remember too when Naga Siren, Slardar, Tidehunter and some other heros will go swimming in the river when you walk thru it.. quite funny lol.. Started during that time until now, still surviving and pwning ppl hehe.. |

I start dota since form 3,then when holiday i will sit there playing non stop until one day i sudden blackout and admitted in the hospital in ICU ward.I am 17 now.But after i discharged from the hospital i am still continuing my habit but not play so long like last time...Haha dont know when i be going to get in ICU again...

23 here. Been playing DotA for almost 5 years. Played gg & flying spaghetti monster (previously known as flying spaghetti monster). A semi-hardcore player. Used to spend a lot of time on DotA but now no more since most of my friends retired already. 26 this year.. I was introduced to dota on my 2nd year at the university. Was hooked to it. That was 5 or 6 years ago. Now playing less due to work, clan members also working, and got ps3 to plays. Sometimes if im bored i played at FTZ Subang.

wow quite amazed many oldies here... i also played since 5.84c... but havent touch for the last 4 years... now too far behind to catch up already... instead playing other simple custom maps like TD... ehehe

Hi.. I'm 32..
Just start play this game.. introduce by my friend. I found out this is good game and very good for me to past my time here at offshore. I start to play dota and it's very difficult for me for the first time. I need more time to learn how to choose hero, gear and everything. Everyone suggest to go to dota forum to find out everything i want but my server here block any site contain game. Luckily here i can access. Still searching from this forum how to play, choose gear and etc.. Hope will play online when at home. *sorry my bad english |

Quitted ages ago. Was once a professional player for my ex-clan. Total time played was only 4 years though. Stopped this year, 20 years old now. There are a lot more things I have to attend to, so nope. No time to play.
Unless you consider a game or two in 3 months for social purposes continuous gaming, then meh. |
