After half a day using my Softbank 705NK(N73), I found it hard to get use to the symbian interface. My last symbian smartphone was N-gage. I have a few questions :
1) What are the essentials software I should get for my N73? 2) Any important settings to change from factory default? 3) Any software to stream stereo music through A2DP? Using default pairing the sound is terrible. 4) Any tips to get good pic, speed up phone? 5) I cant use my audio files in mini sd as ringtones and alarm tone. I got file unprotected error. Btw, viperleong can add me to the user list? Just put me using Softbank 705NK. This post has been edited by shady: Apr 2 2007, 11:27 PM |

Hi guys. I checked my N73's phone memory and 45MB left. Everytime i restart my phone i check with task manager, it shows only 16MB free. Phone memory and program memory are different or same? Should I install everything to Mini SD?

I wonder how u guys format your memory cards especially for those with 1 or 2GBs. Did you all use phone's format(FAT16 and quite big cluster size) or custom format.
I used phone's format and found out lots of space wasted because most files are small. Original size is 200MB but taken around 700MB because of large cluster size. I custom format the MiniSD to FAT32 and 4k cluster size and now it takes only 300MB instead of 700MB for 200MB files. Any tips on this? |
