As I understand, reserving for Bumi and Bumi Lot is different:

Reserving for Bumi is to ensure that there is a certain quota of the units reserved to Bumiputras. After the first sale, there shouldn't be any trouble to sell to non-bumis after that. Of course, the Bumi will get better pricing at the same time.

Bumi Lot are units that are intended just for Bumi, it is far more troublesome to sell these units to non-bumi. Either you have proof that you cannot sell to other Bumi's for a long stretch of time, ie 6 months or a year, or you go court to justify your sale (not sure which type of court).

The houses in PKNS also had the 50% reserve for Bumi concept as well, but I heard from agents saying that many Bumi's sold to Non-Bumi's after that.

I think Seri Mutiara is only reserving for Bumi's rite?

FIRST BUMI WILL BALLOT ON THAT 50% BUMI. THEN FOR THOSE UNSUCCESS BUMI, WILL MIX WITH THE 50% NON BUMI FOR THE 2ND BALLOTING...
SO, BUMI HAVE 2 BALLOT CHANCES, THIS IS WHAT I LEARNT FROM THE SIME DARBY BUKIT RAJA RECENT NOBAT PROJECT'S BALLOTING..

SO YOU MIGHT HAVE EVEN MORE SLIMMER CHANCE.

Based on previous launches, the Bumi take up rate very little. I think most bumi that go will get a unit.
