I recall that ppl protest for a lot of reasons such as some development on a public park like Bukit Kiara or the overdevelopment of their neighbourhood such as Taman Desa, but over a public carpark?

That's a bargain, which is undeniable, but I still cannot fathom anyone holding pickets and banners reading, "Save our Car Parks!" or "No to developing Car Parks!" or something along those lines.

They can try to protest to the car park operator or the developer, but if its a willing buyer and willing seller agreement, then there's not much the general public can do.

But one can still argue that you can use the Park n' Ride facilities and take the public transport since the Chow Kit monorail station is nearby (or the latter only if your place is close to a public transport).

Should be okay there might be improvement in 2022 . Still going to take a while for construction .

Just visited the site. The location seem hidden and hard to be noticed. It is surrounded by old, ugly and messy looking shoplots and sani hotel. I wonder will the foreigners prefer this kind of area to stay. The road leading to this area also look narrow and can be unsafe especially at nite.I dun knw how this kind of loc can attract buyer. Selling nearly Rm 1k persqft. Worth or not?

Regalia is due to the facilities. Infinity pool. Many posted pics there over the internet that attract many others to come and stay. That itself is their USP to do airbnb.

But I doubt for Chambers airbnb will work as the pools located at low floor. View also not sure will be block or not.
And also to sell at 1000 psf is crazy pricing.

We dun know how the new gov is going to treat airbnb grab and so forth from now on. Good luck if you are betting on 'airbnb' purposed building with HDA schedule.
