Hi all sifu sifu here, My apartment got water leaking from the roof especially during heavy rain. Already complaint to management, but they seems slow to find contractor to fix it. It’s been 2 months but they still haven’t repair it. Is there any tribunal for complaint against my apartment management? Or else any solution?

Is there any tribunal for complaint against my apartment management? Or else any solution? how bad is the leak, like 1 point like in Giant & Tesco or whole ceiling become wet? is there additional damage because they are slow in response? is your unit still under warranty? are you sure the leak has nothing to do with you or your contractor? are you sure it's nothing to do with the owner/tenant upper floor? because if it's caused by you or upper floor owner whoever caused it has to fix it. management can only do survey to decide who caused the issue. if damage getting worse whoever responsible will have to fix all the issues, not just the original leak. if your ceiling is wet, they have to change the affected area and restore it like it was before.

Management sent maintenance guy to check and he told me is slab problem. Have to wait another contractor come to repair. My unit is the highest unit. No more warranty because is not new anymore. No more warranty because is not new anymore. Seems like an easy fix to me. The management is just being lazy. Nothing a hammer, some roof nails and a lot of roofing silicone can't fix.

Is there any tribunal for complaint against my apartment management? Or else any solution? Hey there, im sure you already managed to find someone to fix your roof issue, and no, i also went through the same case with you, if you are owner ( if your not you need to reach out to your owner) you need to take it up with your JMB and annual general meeting, that is if its active and doing a good job, and a minimum number of members pay their maintenance on time. Luckily my uncle does this type of contractual work and he managed to help me with my problem first. The issue is once he billed me, I had to claim it against the incompetent management of my apartment building, luckily we manage to come to amicable terms. You see the issue is we need leaks fixed as soon as possible otherwise we are not able to live in these conditions! If anyone is interested to contact my uncle for leaking roofs and plaster ceiling leaks and pipes, you can do so at this number Call /wassap Mr. Teh 012-6721130 . I recently also launched his website at https://mrfix-leaking-roof.com/
