for V30 case, LG have better optimization than samsung

just would like to report in. officially owned S9+ blue coral 128gb

bought on last Friday during roadshow along with alcantara black. prefer the red version, too bad not available on that day.

set it up almost 95% as i used to set up previous m10p.

install whitestone dome. too bad not perfect install, accidentally shift a bit to lower side. hopefully when my rhinoshield solid suit arrive it wont lift the glass.

after 48hours of use, i feel this is the best all-rounder Samsung phone. the only aspect kinda let down a bit, the battery life i would say far cry with mate 10p (even when compared to fw 1.32 which not as good as earlier fw). understand it's 3500mAh vs 4000mAh but would expect with newer chip and optimization, at least should be much lower performance.
other than that, i'm satisfied. in terms of UI, coming from recent m10p, Samsung UI looks and feel more consistent and polish compared to EMUI 8.

if wanna nitpick, here the list (based on my personal perspective)
1. the power button location on S9+ too high up. S9 and m10p location perfect though.
2. fingerprint location is good but too near with camera and on the smaller size. anyway it's leap and way better than in S8.
3. im wondering why Samsung can't install the S9/S9+ with better selfie camera as in A8/A8+ 2018 series.

hopefully it's age well throughout my ownership period.

i like it. the feeling, you really need to hold in your hand. refer to flossy carter's youtube video.
in fact during S8 time, also bought this case for official outing.
this s9/s9+ version have button button compare to 8series. on side note, the 8series didnt age well, noticed some wear-off on the corner, hope this 9series version last longer.

just would like to know, how do get it works?
being trying to install BK disabler+bk plugin not successful. same to package disabler pro.

my s8 alcantara smooth at edges but the back still furry.
about the protection, not really concern for my side coz only use for formal stuff and occasional event. that time my daily case was Pitaka (which top/bottom and side lips protection almost none-existent) and for protection i get UAG as backup which hardly use though.
so s9+, this alcantara will be my primary until the next case arrive.

anyway, its each to their own preference.

I think so. At least based on my very short time with those phones in store. S9series essentially reuse back s8series front camera.
Read user comment in a8/a8+ thread, a user (can't recall the id) switch from s8 to a8/a8+ also praise the later camera.

Vanced support PIP and background playback. A former mentioned stock YouTube can do PIP, I'm just wondering thus stock version support background playback or not. Hehe

I'm not sure perhaps my installation not so perfect, my Whitestone kinda attract lint at it's edges. Kinda annoying.
