i mean 50 passes but needed 2 days to finish it... it's a kpop star wor  whistling.gif

Oh. If that's the case, then only one possibility. Most of the fans don't have Samsung phones to redeem. While there's only a few Samsung phone users who are the fans of this Kpop Star. Only true fans would go to buy Samsung phones just to grab the chance to get in touch with the star.tongue.gif

i just compared my s9+ with my friend's one. his is yellowish, but brighter. since mine is darker, looks a bit greenish compare to his yellowish. if we switched off the auto brightness, both have the same bright, but mine is whiter than his...

really hate AMOLED because of this.
*
No. 1 rule when buying amoled phone : do not compare to other unit.

Every time after I bought Samsung phone, I tried my best to not to going back to the store and look at the retail units. Don't want to make myself feel upset if find out my unit screen is not on par with retail units. Lol.

I was thinking of taking the plunge to buy a s9+ today but after reading about the dead screen spot issue not sure should i wait it out or take a chance...
*
if you are not in hurry, then perhaps you should wait.

Since Samsung already acknowledge about the issue, they sure will try to work on it. Wait for their response first and see what's the outcome and solution. If its software issue, wait for them to release the update fix, then only buy. If it's hardware issue, then wait a bit longer and buy the later batch.

My test so weird 😅
*
When you do this test, don't hold your phone. Your holding hand might have accidentally touching the phone edge causing the error. Just put your phone on the table first, then only do this touchscreen test. Try again.

If the 2nd & 3rd result still come out the same, then ya. Your touch screen got issue.

I tested this along few diagnostic stuff on the roadshow before I make a payment in front of the Samsung staff just to minimize chances of getting lemon unit.
*
Exactly. Normally the Samsung store staff would help you to do the test before you leave. But for roadshow, you would need to do the test by yourself as those roadshow staff would have no time to help you due to long queue.

The problem is, the lines shown but the block behind could not trace it. Weird
*
I see. Anyway, this is still abnormal. Just go to SC and let them check. Probably you will need to wait for replacement as well since they still need to wait for approval from HQ. Afterall, Samsung is still looking into the issue. They can only accelerate the replacement procedure once Samsung give instruction after the diagnosis.

They allow you to test the phone before making payment? My experience with them before, pay first then only the they will pass the phone or device to me to check. But that was more than a year ago and before. Recent one I bought online so can't really check.
*
Pay or not pay, they would change to new unit if you find out your phone has issues. No question asked. The only term and condition are check in front of their eyes, and don't leave the store before you finish your examination. Once you leave the store with your phone, you still have 50-50 chances to get a replacement when you go back to the store. Otherwise, proceed to warranty claim.

One thing I realize with S9+, even with power saver mid which turn ON the speed limiter, it still blazing fast & smooth for day to day use.

On previous Sammy devices, felt slow when switch ON power saver
*
Ya. According to some reviews, it was said that S9's performance is near to S8/Note 8's performance when you turn on the speed limiter.

Still undecided whether the S9+ worth buying now or not. I read the previous post, but after that no more people report to have the dead spot issue any more. Any user that having the dead spot problem please report here.
*
Not every S9 users are also member in this forum. Just go to Samsung facebook and look if there's any similar complaints.

Can hide the notch if one don't like it by turning off the screen pixels at the top and it will look more like the S9 screen. The effect is real as OLED can turn off individual pixels.

The only things P20 Pro lacks are the stereo speaker and wireless charging. But it has an IR blaster with no headphone jack.
*
Hmm..bro. Check again. It does have stereo speaker.

Guys, slow mo video needs to be really bright environment? I realized if i try to take slow motion or live focus, the image is very dark. Even a bright lit room especially for slow motion video, it's superbly dark.

Why huh? Is it cuz it's using the 2.4 aperture lens? But I thought all switch to 1.5 if it detects darker area?
*
yes. The super slow-mo performance will become very poor when you do it in low light, especially indoor.

Has everyone installed the 1st update?
I haven't done so..
*
You should install it because the 1st update would fix the fingerprint sensor issue according to Samsung.
