can't see any kesan tyre brake in the picture
wonder is it crash without brake lol 1. kesan brake behind the car, can't see from picture or 2. driver sleeping no brake or 3. too scared to fully pijak brake right the moment before crash (not a good idea to fully hantam brake from the beninging) or 4. crash at 170km/h, don't even have time to pijak brake |

Engine separated from the gearbox. Impact must be really hard.
Any how, Myvi no matter which generation is never safe. Be careful when driving. Safety gadgets also useless if driver ignore them. |

QUOTE(digilife @ Feb 22 2018, 05:13 PM) I already mentioned many times, the new MiVi is nice only on design, but still sampah in the door slamming test, meaning they are using steel that are not as good the new Saga or Persona, enough said ............. But NCAP crash test said they're higher points than proton, so it should be even safer than proton, says every perodua macai.Perodua claimed they used 2.5X more high tensile steel in myvi gen3. I don't claim to be smart. Yes airbags have benefited from technology advancement but it is still a rapidly expanding object. So you're moving forward towards an object that is rapidly accelerating towards you. Even people who are properly restrained with seatbelts have reported injuries. Why even bring in faulty airbags? Those can kill regardless of whether you're wearing seatbelts or not, so it's a moot point. |

Plotong driver in Facebook always exaggerate their car speed during accident if they survive the accident or minimum damage to their car.
Meanwhile if Perodua car involved in accident then all hell break loose. |

5 star ASEAN NCAP.
but still can remuk like that. inb4 my potong survived 2 accidents before. QUOTE In any case, the results are incredibly favourable. The Myvi tested was the 1.3G variant, which doesn't even pack the full safety package that comes with the 1.5AV model. Despite that, it receives a 5-star rating with a score of 32.71 for Adult Occupant Protection and 43.14 for Child Occupant Protection. https://www.carlist.my/news/all-new-perodua...p-rating/48355/ This post has been edited by jeff10012003: Feb 23 2018, 11:19 AM |

So many people donno how the ASA works.
This shows that P2 failed to educate the people. People have been thinking that the ASA is a "replacement" instead of an "assitance" They tot the ASA thing can replave their brain |

Unless you drive a tank, crashing into a heavy object at high speeds is gonna be bad. No safety feature or 5 star ratings gonna save you from the laws of physics.

QUOTE(killerjeya @ Feb 23 2018, 12:20 AM) Badge still intact yo. Cap selamat True,n if you drive cautiously, you are still at risk of getting into an unwanted accident bcuz syaitans are everywhere nowadays. And I dare to debate, most of the time, the ones who drive faster(not speeding like mcb Myvi/Vios drivers lansi driving skill) are much more alert and better at responding to the situation. Why I say this? But seriously though, HOW you drive matters more than WHAT you drive. That said, this being Merehsia and all, no matter how careful you drive, there will always be other speed syaitons on the road... If you are driving slow, taking your bloody sweet time, hogging the middle or fast lane at your mak bapak moyang concubine FUBU speed, you piss other drivers off who wants to just drive nice and fast enough to reach office/their destination with a little bit of breather time. That being said, when they got no choice but to overtake, that's when other cars who are also facing slow drivers may be overtaking at the same time, causing a possibility of a collision. Siapa yang selamat? Those driving at 10-20kmph without situational awareness, thinking the whole world revolves around them. QUOTE(bereev @ Feb 23 2018, 08:02 AM) Can, but the buyers probably tell the salesman to set the default to on all the way and then dismantle the indicator and pass it back to the salesman to save RM20000. Those indicator stick mahal punya accessories. |

I know very well it's off by default and you can turn it on or off. But majority if not all the buyers probably asked the wiring guy to rewire it to auto on when the engine is ignited and they probably traded in the indicator stick for rebate. |

At that group, every post u make, need admin approve. Sometimes take few hours for it to appear and others can answer. Yet they post there, instead of flip the manual, which clearly stated the meaning of those lights..... |

19th June 2018 - 2nd fatal accident involving Perodua Myvi 3rd generation. It was totally unexpected. Lamp post collapsed and hitting the car. Unfortunately, the car driver pass away in this accident. Similar accident involving Proton Iriz on 2016, big tree hitting the car but the driver which is a pilot was save in the accident. The purpose of this post is to give awareness to Malaysia that strong car structure might save you in freak accident. Yes for majority Muslim in Malaysia death is certain and may come in unexpected way and time but we can do some effort by choosing safer car to protect us from unexpected freak accident as this.

Total loss on my swift. wonder is it crash without brake lol 1. kesan brake behind the car, can't see from picture or 2. driver sleeping no brake or 3. too scared to fully pijak brake right the moment before crash (not a good idea to fully hantam brake from the beninging) or 4. crash at 170km/h, don't even have time to pijak brake |

QUOTE(Louis90 @ Jun 20 2018, 10:04 PM) Lol this actually happened to me once. Tailgated a myvi (not the latest one, the blue color one) at 150kmh and didn't give me the way. But he eventually surrendered to a cayenne behind us lol. ^ Same species as speeding Maibi.... 2x5When your days finally come remember don't drag others with you guys, just go into the drains so don't cause traffic jam too. |

Sped depends D's it car. Can f u speed 160 rpm reaches red line no point is dangerous driving. If u drive 160 and rpm just 4000. Then is diff story. Of coz most cat the speedo can reach 160 but it doesn't mean u can go such speed. Drive with brain.

If your speedometer is reading 160km/h and your car's RPM is at the redline, there's no point in driving fast. In fact it's dangerous. If your car's speedometer is reading 160km/h and your car's RPM is 4000, then it's a different story. Already test drive myvi 1.5 at perodua showroom, the car is feel lighter and under powered, poor braking performance, the most I hate is the rattling sound can hear clearly inside car cabin when you drive on poor condition road aka "jalan tampal", even it's a new car! The car feel spacious but a bit lousy about internal design, especially the dashboard, hate no cup holder and the push start button should put at right side of the driver position, lousy inside entertainment system especially sound quality, poor sound insulator especially on roof, doors and near wheels side. about the FC, it's around 14-16km/L average on mix highway and city ride, pump at shell use RON97, The journey is from Inaman to Kota Belud and return. I cancel my plan to buy myvi and other any local made car because lousy quality and poor engine performance.

But anyway, driving depend on road condition & situation, on empty highway at midnight can hit above 160km/h, on normal day, drive over 100km/h is dangerous to your self and other road users. |

Myvi is inevitably a cost saving model - Swap the wheels to wider and better brands for traction, switch to fully syn engine oil for lifespan and minor engine improvements (just like rm20 more than myvi semi-syn stock), if your right leg kuat, then upgrade the brakes, with a small investment of about 5-10K you can make it a much safer car with better control under emergencies, or just don't ask for one is a much cheaper option. Not much can save its suspension and chassis though - but still, a huge difference if you know your car inside out. Been picking fights with rich farts who apparently don't even know their drive and haven't landed in longkang... yet.. |

QUOTE(dares @ Jun 25 2018, 11:16 AM) Forgot to mention.. MT 1.5 only. Other models 1.3 tak cukup makan and any 1.5 AT is pretty bad power transfer/response. To be exact the 'older' golf GTI is slightly faster on pickup (for a 200K range lah to be exact - 500 maybe a bit far fetched), and due to the difficulty to get spot on upshifts for the manual since the peak torque runs around 4.3-4.8k rpm, I tend to undershift alot. But this is considering golf is 2.0 turbo. The new R with higher output would leave myvi in the dust completely though. Most richie bmw and friends are heavily overweight (well, in a good sense to safely handle at speed) in comparison to a 1.5 stock with 900kg kerb weight (i'd imagine driving with nothing but an engine This post has been edited by Dezs: Jun 25 2018, 12:12 PM |

Other models 1.3 tak cukup makan and any 1.5 AT is pretty bad power transfer/response. you're right, one day i had a drive and my friend can't shake this 2 cars, apparently these are their toy cars, 1.5 myvi manual and 1.5 satria. Most richie bmw and friends are heavily overweight (well, in a good sense to safely handle at speed) in comparison to a 1.5 stock with 900kg kerb weight (i'd imagine driving with nothing but an engine good days good days, i couldn't keep up with my E92 316i ![]() |

QUOTE(maxizanc @ Jun 25 2018, 12:30 PM) Correct. New myvi feels more lighter. Just feel it when you open and close tge door. Like very thin wow. Prev myvi is heavier. They fuel tank is made by plastic. And taraaa you get and eco car in a myvi Yeah, any cars, suv, pickups or vans engine comes without turbo is under powered & acceleration sucks. Today I decide with a few best friends together buy new hilux revo 2.8L, FC is quite same or even better than most local made gasoline vehicles, for a 2 tons trucks around 13-19km/L diesel euro 5, depend traffics condition or cruising on highway, got huge discount & no GST/ SST. Later upgrade better tires from Michelin, install rear stabilizer & leaf spring shackles. Only trucks is expensive in tires change, parts and higher monthly installment. Acceleration suck. But goof la less gila Myvi driver. Rattle noises everywhere. Back seat nof comfortable. The bestest point is the exterior and efficient fc |

That Myvi is going into the longkang - yellow dude should be able to senang senang tapau them at every turn gua... Satria sayang sebab badan dia berat - tapi reinforced tin milo lah compared to Myvi.good days good days, i couldn't keep up with my E92 316i ![]() QUOTE(dares @ Jun 25 2018, 09:42 PM) LOL.. the lowest I'd go to trusting a chassis is the Myvi - seen some nasty hits and it did reasonably well as long as drive does some diligence to avoid a head-on... already consider tin milo, if you remove the tin milo and maybe replace with milo refill pack = Viva gua...Trying to rev a viva feels like demanding your hamster to run 6000rpm on his wheel.. Kinda can imagine what would happen hahaha... On the other hand, Axia gives a pretty good run for balance, almost reaching tin milo standard, 1.0 cheap and efficient engine, 800kg kerb weight.. but it aint gonna get into the 1.5 club of the cheap cari pasal crew. But at 28K for the most basic model (still 1.0)... damn. This post has been edited by Dezs: Jun 26 2018, 10:46 AM |

Nothing comes free - you still lose something, but I dun get the logic of boosting top speed when you can never safely drive or reach that speed without likely getting into trouble in like literally all of our roads. Beyond 140-150 Myvi is very limited in handling - can only take normal turns on lebuhraya, and 170-180 is very likely the end of the line. Beyond that you will likely lose control for anything more than the slightest turn.Mau tuning increase low rpm output la ($$)... cari pasal kat traffic light.. Piap piap pun paling manyak 60kph jer.. bikin muka malu jer - totalled claim insurance, buy new ciplak.. can live to cari pasal again another day. |

QUOTE(Harold2009 @ Jun 25 2018, 07:33 AM) Already test drive myvi 1.5 at perodua showroom, the car is feel lighter and under powered, poor braking performance, the most I hate is the rattling sound can hear clearly inside car cabin when you drive on poor condition road aka "jalan tampal", even it's a new car! I test drove myvi and picanto on the same day, showroom just next to each other Went for picanto straight |

That day me, my bro and parents went to Klang to attend a wedding. On the way back home, I noticed got Kia showroom and Perodua showroom side by side in Klang. I decided to go coz it's been 3 months since new myvi launched and we have yet to try it.But damn, Kia Picanto is so awesome I like everything about it except for space. Everything is just better than the new myvi IMO. I really hate my 2012 myvi SE 1.5 now. |

Try out new saga wei. No kidding once I drove constant 150~160 kmh. Stable af. Like driving at 110 kmh. Steering wheel no shaky shaky (hydraulic FTW).
Of course full on concentration. Funny thing was I was getting sleepy driving at speed limit and getting to 150 kmh+ gets my adrenaline pumping and wide awake O.O! |
