Just got charged sst and annual fees for my visa infinite few days back and just realized it and called uob….they said sst can’t be waived as usual so requested for cancellation and shall wait for retention team to call me and see will they waive it or not if not dun mind cancelling this card as still have another two cards with them

They just offer you straight up? I just got the RM25 offset SST offer.

What coverage you want to check? I’ve tried to claim with many travel cc from Maybank to HSBC - both MY and SG. Never successful before. All have many exclusions

Received annual fee waiver for my UOB Prvi Mile Elite

Tried calling UOB to request for cashback to offset SST on my UOB One Card, request was denied by the agent

this year, my card annual fee (RM600) was not granted full waiver 

first time happened so..

i was only offered half waiver.. the other half can be waive through balance transfer or 150,000 points redemption 

UOB preparing exit ccard within 1 2 yrs. Then soon in next 3 5 yrs fully exit country.

already cancelled, was waiting for retention offer, but they really proceed and closed my case with the cancellation hahaha

yes. same case as my hsbc. retention team dont even call. immediate card blocked and no longer can access app. after 2 week, eccris remove my hsbc card.

therefore dont expect retention team will call and counter offer. nowaday bank dont bother
