since sept 2017 until 2 weeks ago, my phone was consistently dropped 2-3% for 8 hours overnight after fully charged to 100%
but 2 weeks ago after last software update, it was suddenly became unstable for few days, dropped around 7-15% overnight

after that, back to stable, but now drop around 5% every overnight 7-8 hours
maybe due to battery degrade after 9 months+ usage but it is weird that not show the sign of degrade a bit by a bit, but instead a sudden obvious degrade

many powerbank support quick charge for self recharge and charge to device now
latest can even support wireless self recharge and charge to device

then you can skip 9 and wait for the launch of 10 anniversary version on next year

my cousin's ipad is also 5 years old now, not dare to update to latest ios because too worry that its performance will slow down a lot..

another trick for ios is that the supported app will stop update and function, if your ios device is not on the latest version

seem like the previous update is the root cause for the battery "degrade", after the update, battery consumption become faster

after the latest 800mb update, the battery consumption resume back to the same as before the previous update, the % drop slower now

came across this post about the methods to remove the light scratch on the phone screen, i think it is maybe can apply to those SP such as T-Max, Whitestone, etc too..

i never try before, but some members from here found their phone screen scratched.. maybe you guys can try

i read about it before
Samsung have agreement with Qualcomm that it must use SD chip for certain markets
if not, Samsung will prefer to fully shift to exynos

exynos is catching up and overall performance is close to SD now
some areas are even better than SD, for example camera for photo and video
but to make both variants sync, Samsung need to restrict the exynos to tune down the photo and video shoot

i am thinking that if Note 9 released a new spen with extra functionalities which is same size/length as Note 8 spen, and able to insert into Note 8 spen slot.. Then, we can buy it to upgrade to Note 8.5
