Wow, yours are high tech gadgets. How about this Nikon d3400?
*
d3400 is entry model for nikon..but with with 24mp really impressive ...but i noticed it has 5 fps...compared to note 8 well note 8 on manual mode has 800 ISO...but higher ISO means more noise, so u need more stability like tripod.

Hello guys,
Just wanna ask..
Do you guys use the phone for lifelong or u will change the phone??
*
2 years minimum. That's usually when OEM stop providing security updates.

Too thick. When it's too huge it won't feel comfortable to hold like holding brick.

I am looking for something like rhinoshield for iPhone that covers sides and back but currently only have bumper.

Everybody has their own preference, maybe you got small hand so u feel uncomfortable but to me it is perfectly nice to hold bcos i got big hand. And also i can smash the phone on table without worry the back glass will cracked.

Note 8 is a slim phone so if you feel it's too bulky maybe can consider mi max 2 it's big and heavy suitable for your big hands.

Sorry i never feel note 8 is bulky, u are the one mentioned after applied the duallayer case the phone become too thick. As i said i like solid case, i like heavy phone and i like its bulky feel with duallayer case.

Rhinoshield bumper case? Too bad Rhinoshield didn't come up with MOD case for note 8. Only iphone series... cry.gif

Hi everyone, any ideas our note 8 can have control the phone like iphone X gesture mode? Seems like a lot of manufacturers are following this gesture style to navigate the phone operation, such as Xiao Mi and Huawei. Wondering is there any ways our note 8 can do so... It will be much more easier. Now I'm hiding the nav bar. But everytime when need to swipe up, will accidentally active the keyboard.

Any photographers here? Is note 8 comparable to any beginner DSLRs?
*
I'll never compare both phone and mirrorless/dslr as both cater different category. Phone camera is good to do casual / quick / everyday snap. I'll still prefer to take picture with my camera due to the versatility it offer.

Normally change phone after 2 years la

but this note 8 maybe after 3 years

with dual cam and 6gb ram i think it will last to 2020

by then it worth to buy phone with 3 cam and 8gb ram

or switch back to ios

I change every 1 to 2 years depending on the features offered by the new phone. None of my phone lasted me more than 2 yrs. laugh.gif

Does it make your phone hot and does it drain battery? I haven't installed it with this phone but I've tried with my S6E, it got quite hot and battery drained quite fast. But it's an almost 3 years old device. Lol. I like what it produced though.

with phone , u will be able to shoot more scene and more picture , sometime it's about the moment and timing , lightning and composition , a good picture dont need to be sharp , but a good picture will tell story , holding DSLR is heavy and quite easy to tired for long travel , end up u get less photo

if u are really a guys who like 1:1 zoom to compare sharpness then sorry note8 stil far from DSLR , but if u plan to upload ur photo to only social media like facebook , instagram , then it's more more more than enough , combo with snapseed and its my GO TO TRAVEL Phone camera biggrin.gif , my fujifilm 35mm f1.4 and xm1 is sleeping in my dry box , very lazy to take out SD card , transfer to pc , open lightroom and touch up yawn.gif End up i will be like my friend who go travel , after come back 1-2 month only upload the picture rclxub.gif outdated

I just take a few pictures and not test thoroughly yet. Compared with another app/apk with HTC U11+ seems better in U11+ as it can choose Pixel 2 XL as model and Pixel 2017 Zsl HDR+ as config.
