Doesn't matter for me. The 2 pin I just leave it to collect dust. I'm using my Honor stock charger and surprisingly the quick charge icon showed up. 😂

The charging icon on top right will have a circle around the lightning symbol if quick charge detected

btw is it just me or the best case so far is the one that comes in the box

I have no problem connecting to PC to transfer file. The problem I'm facing is OTG. It just won't detect anything.

Owh ya, now I remember someone did post that. I think it's due to camera lense protecter that the fella installed on their own. From the box, it doesn't come with any layer.

coz u r using their framework to connect to another telco.

traditionally voice channel is limited to 8bit quality,
if u wan more bit, voice channel unable to provide u... tat y they use data channel in LTE.

so what does 8bit audio or more mean...
8bit - suitable to carry human voice data
16bit - music... voice+treble+bass like ur mp3 quality
24bit - music + more background sound... eg singer stepping on the floor sound (aka dancing) is recorded

in conclusion, if u r using VoLTE.. ur spouse will know whether u r cheating or not... they hear everything in background.

No, it does not effect your photo quality. It only affected your photo size, 4:3 (Instagram size) the smalest one and 18:9 is the biggest.

4:3 is normal picture sensor size. 16:9/18:9 they basically cut the picture to fit your screen. Anyway if you face the lag the guy up there say reset can cure it or maybe try double clear cache.

Hi guys, i’m using RN3 currently..plan to change to RN5..
Issues i faced with current RN3
- screen brightness problem esp under sunlight
- GPS problem, cannot use waze

How good is RN5 regarding these 2 probs, anyone had issue with gps or screen brightness?

I was on hold to update coz I want to see some feedback first.

Easy fix is to simply change your region to india and then face id is there.

+1. I changed my region to Indonesia,then the face unlock option available in setting

Best is change to Hong Kong region, same timezone, also got face unlock.

Just updated mine to MIUI 10.

So far tried the face unlock feature, damn fast. Nice.

Camera also seemed like got improvement also, can set 4:3 ratio without lag. Will continue monitor.

Will continue monitor battery and any issues and update here after few days usage.

So far loving MIUI 10.

For those haven't update or still hesitating to update, I recommend you give it a shot.

Yesterday night put my phone on airplane mode to detect any battery drain due to Android system. Went to sleep with 91% and woke up with same battery level.



After this will try without airplane mode, but with data off for overnight battery drain.

As with camera, no more lags with 4:3 aspect ratio, and also when launching. Mine is 3gb ram only.

Tip: Activate HHT under Menu settings for better night shots. Night scene shot doesn't yield as good results.
