Hi there, recently saw the ride sharing company booming up is Mula, and they have this Get A Car program too. Anyone is driving with Mula? How are the earnings comparing to Uber & Grab?

Interesting. Although so far this service is open for KL and Penang only.

I am not sure about how the earnings compare to Uber and Grab but I have a friend who is working as a MULA driver and she joined the "Get A Car Program" which she was given a proton Ertiga. She works very hard daily, driving 6-8 hours everyday, therefore makes a decent earning.

Sometimes I really pity her because she has built her own customer base which some of them request her to sent them to the airport for the first flight of the day. Instead, she sleeps in her car in order to make the trip instead of going home as the commute is quite a far distance. Certain days in the late evenings, she volunteers at the local community centre teaching the under privileged children. Quite remarkable for a days work.

MULA scheme want one so commited to the driving job, too long working time and not flexible.

the 'get a car program' need at least 60 hours online per week, therefore it was not she 'works hard', but she must do so under the agreement/contract.

it different from grab/uber whereby part timer is ok and can still do other job, MULA just want kuli driver to serve their member.

let see their another program - using own car one - requirements:

**Requirements to maintain as a MULA Mate driver;
– Maintaining a weekly Acceptance rate of : 85%
– Maintaining a weekly Driver Rating of above : 4.75
– Cancellation rate is maintained below :15%

gila, no extra incentive payout already asking driver to perform like this.

1. Displacement(cc): Min 1.3 Liter, Sedan, SUV, MPV
2. Car seater: 4-10 seater
3. Car age: 4 years or newer (from date of car manufactured)

Not sure whether I’m allowed to share this or not but I went for the interview and they are looking for full time drivers who are willing to grow with them.

For the proton ertiga car , your contract is 55months driving for them or sales target of 240k whichever comes first and the whole car is yours.

You need to have a online hours of 240 hours a month and min sales of 2.3k of month

Got enough riders or not to hit their sales target ? In kv.

Hence the long hours of hard work by my friend. Sigh.......Feels like she sold her life and soul to the company. Btw, MULA a subsidiary business/company of MBI.

So far from what they say is that as long as you got the hours but not hit the sales target . They can close one eye cos it's still new here in Klang

I am not sure about whether she has insurance coverage but I sure hope she does for her sake.

Then we will wait MULA change strategy , maybe TAMAT is a better name when they realized their plan is wrong.

Just saw the email and they ask me to go for the ethics training which means I qualify for the program....but in the end ....I go rent car do grab much better I guess.

Because still need to pay 1.5k refundable deposit but still need to hit those targets.

if they do incorporate 'driver rating' in the agreement of 'get a car program', besides of hitting sales target, i'm afraid driver loose the car after 5 years if driver rating below it.

those agreement always put terms like company reserve the rights to amend the clause without notifying....

That is basically daylight robbery. One sided agreement.
