any reason why primer or sealant was not given for the ceiling>?

and why did you apply primer to the walls? original already got paint right?

My plaster ceiling contractor told me they are just using two layers of maxilite paint. Looks ok enough for me

Yes normal practice for ceiling is 2 coats of normal white paint.
You may apply primer to ceiling as well, but my plaster ceiling guy not recommend it cause it will create bigger issue if any water leaking according to him.
I apply primer to walls for better adherence as advised by painter. Of course you may exclude primer if already got paint.
So whether the above true or not, I'm not sure cause I'm not the expert.

I applied EasyClean final coat for ceiling because it's easier for me, same paint with wall, boundary/edge painting was easier (I painted myself).
Basically, it's all up to you. I believe even different painter / plaster ceiling guy will tell you different thing.

Finally moved in, and still many small tasks & unsettled things to do.

Here is a summary list of my review on all my contractors (may missed out some), mainly based at Seremban.
If anyone interested to know further I would be happy to share. Do PM me.

Yes, maybe my skill problem. I just ignore it.
Factors : painting skill, roller, wrong dilution of paint, ceiling waviness

I think its not the skills. Most probably the ceiling waviness. 4 layers of paint yet cannot eliminate it.

So far so good. Not really heavy usage as it’s dry kitchen & I seldom cook. Everything still in good.

I opted for 2.5ft depth cabinet for fridge. So it’s kinda deep to store/take things. But in order to fully cover the fridge, so no choice.
