Guys would you rather pick (example) MYR1000 or SGD325 (simple google conversion) for a contract 1 year job, residing at MSA. This decision u made will affect the next payroll (either you get RM1k constant, or get SGD325, then convert)
Hope this make sense |

QUOTE(rotogistics @ Sep 30 2021, 12:13 PM) As I am working with an employer outside of Malaysia, I will have to pay for my own EPF and taxes. With a total monthly payment of 7k, my gross is really just ~RM6150. Bro, for your case, no need to pay tax for the original country of the employer/offer letter address?Despite feeling low balled, I believe the experience and one foot into SG will be worth it in the long run |

QUOTE(corad @ Oct 30 2021, 08:29 PM) thanks for sharing ! MSA=MalaysiaWhat does MSA mean ? Malaysia ? If you choose SGD where will it be bank-ed in ? Directly to your Malaysia bank acc ? That is quite tricky. If I opt SGD, I will need to open a SG bank acc. From my googling, u can open CIMB Singapore acc online as it's difficult to travel now. But need to park 1000SGD. I haven't done it though |

QUOTE(rotogistics @ Oct 30 2021, 04:09 PM) Hmmmm my employer said I need to pay Singapore tax , but no need to pay Malaysia tax. Did asked around people working at Singapore (Malaysian) , they only pay tax to Singapore govt annually. Then declare zero income at Malaysia LHDN.https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nst.com.my...not-taxable-irb |
