Used to get a lot of monthly income from the insane OT that we're allowed to do (take home RM7~8k), but company no longer allows us to do so due to costing.

Started joining the workforce at 26 because I took STPM and finished my degree a little later. I have a feeling I might be among the people pulling low income in this thread. Already know what my peers in the company are making, even the seniors. They make RM300-400 more than me but they do a lot more work in comparison, while I clock in and clock out on time every day to spend more time with the wife.

Don't really feel motivated working here but it's stress free and near where I live. Been attending job interviews here and there once in a while to test the waters, but they all fell through.

Also doing a side gig involving translation after my normal working hours. Freelance but average monthly income is RM4k~5k.
