For the Bachelor Computer Science specialize in Software Engineering fresh graduate who plans to work in Singapore, what is the range of their salary? >2.4ksgd?
Instead of the salary, actually what I more concern is the technical test.... saw many different technical test and those questions are hard, probably screw up...

QUOTE(James1983 @ May 8 2019, 07:18 AM) For starting job salary in SG (IT), it depends heavily on which uni you graduate from Mind sharing which uni you’re from? The expected range differs greatly I'm from MMU Cyberjaya and my CGPA is 3.52. btw, going to graduate in 3 more weeks..😩

Initially plan to work in SG after graduate, then i realize like most of the company they paying around 2400SGD +- for the fresh graduate only... but since im graduate in computer science, most of the IT job is in SG town area which the living cost quite high...
After some consideration, make up my minds and find the job in KL.. not sure is a good decision or not

QUOTE(coolguy99 @ Jun 17 2019, 11:32 PM) Even if you work in KL your starting pay will be around RM3k only, given that KL's living cost is quite high too, what is the difference? Another point where I decide to get some experience in KL first is I applied around 10 jobs through JobStreet.sg but all of them said not suitable. Lol... even they mentioned training provided and only little requirement is stated

QUOTE(coolguy99 @ Jun 18 2019, 08:52 AM) The only thing they look in fresh graduates is your cgpa, major and your soft skills when you go interview with them, if they outright rejected you before you even attend the interview, it is either your cgpa is low or your major does not fit the criteria of what they are looking for. Have you tried looking via Linkedin or Monster? SG recruiters have stopped using Jobstreet ages ago. Maybe.. cause my cgpa is 3.5 only. Might try Monster later

QUOTE(LokhonSporrow @ Jun 30 2019, 08:49 PM) It your first job, I think you already grab a good opportunity to built up your's skill and experience. Salary can increase while you spend in company and with experience. This is what i think of, build my skill first.. just my parent keep saying with that salary, after rent house etc, not much left for saving..
