Alot real mncs with real pratice doesnt ask about ur payslip n will hire u. They hire u on what they believe u r worth on ur capability. Not ur past salary indicators.

Actually following past salary indicators, bills gates, steve jobs n alot billionaires would still be poor guy.

i think it depends on what position and program applied.

If you go for their flagship programs like Management Trainee or Graduate Trainee programs, you can easily get above RM3.5k+ for banking. Like Hong Leong paid RM5k for their Management Trainee program, but of course competition is tough...

If direct entry, then lower.

Still quite expensive even if you don't convert.
Slightly more expensive for a lot smaller room/house.

For instance, with RM2k you can rent a 3 bed room, 1000+ sqft condo, at a good location.
In fact, you can even rent terrace house at less than 2k.

With 2k SGD, you can at most rent a 2 room HDB with about 700-800 sqft, if you're looking for a good location.
And if you want to rent condo, perhaps you can only rent a studio/1 bed-room condo/apartment.
