QUOTE(party @ Mar 6 2019, 07:42 PM) Alot real mncs with real pratice doesnt ask about ur payslip n will hire u. They hire u on what they believe u r worth on ur capability. Not ur past salary indicators. Actually following past salary indicators, bills gates, steve jobs n alot billionaires would still be poor guy. Good practice company have a set of salary range for every position. So if you are at a certain level, they have a range they can pay you, nothing above and nothing below that range.

QUOTE(badguy93 @ Mar 7 2019, 02:06 PM) This concept is good. Some MNC uses this pattern then later on low ball upon candidate reveal current salary, lel. Willing buyer/Willing seller... no such thing as lowball or no... dont like the price walk lor. Then again my last "interview" I nego $$ with the MD and not the HR...

QUOTE(jitshiong @ Mar 7 2019, 05:09 PM) That's the best you can get. Straight away to the decision maker. Yes it helps, I only met the HR on my first day at work.

QUOTE(Manada @ Mar 13 2019, 11:14 AM) i think it depends on what position and program applied. If you go for their flagship programs like Management Trainee or Graduate Trainee programs, you can easily get above RM3.5k+ for banking. Like Hong Leong paid RM5k for their Management Trainee program, but of course competition is tough... If direct entry, then lower. 15 yrs ago, my colleague's fresh graduate son got into HSBC Global Management program... after 1.5 yrs he was drawing around RM10k, with golf club membership etc etc

QUOTE(Searingmage @ Sep 6 2019, 01:55 PM) Still quite expensive even if you don't convert. Slightly more expensive for a lot smaller room/house. For instance, with RM2k you can rent a 3 bed room, 1000+ sqft condo, at a good location. In fact, you can even rent terrace house at less than 2k. With 2k SGD, you can at most rent a 2 room HDB with about 700-800 sqft, if you're looking for a good location. And if you want to rent condo, perhaps you can only rent a studio/1 bed-room condo/apartment. Not a fair comparison, considering you wont be able to afford a landed house there

QUOTE(Win Win Inspiration @ Sep 13 2019, 05:06 PM) The [Joining Bonus] It is indeed great that you have this perk that is rarely seen in the industry today. It depends greatly on industry. One of my peer recently joined a new company in Singapore, his sign on Bonus was between SGD200~250k this is for a 2 year contract
