Definitely not. To IMU, the more partner medical schools, the better.

With the current issue regarding junior doctor contract in the uk, I wouldn't be surprised if more international students from the uk are flooding back to sg/Australia.

numed, being a first, did put gme in a quandary as to how to deal with their graduates....this now appears sorted out....the degree will be recognised by gme...the housemanship performed in selected hospitals in msia will be recognised as equivalent as f1 of uk...so a numed graduate completing housemanship in one of the approved hospitals can apply to get full registration with gme...

that says nothing about ability to work in the uk after...again theoretically, one can apply to enter cst/st...and if offered a job, will be eligible for a tier2 visa...

that remains to be tested...if it is possible....as it is, amongst uk local doctors, it is very competitive...but with the new nhs junior doctors' contract, large scale migration out may mean more vacancies....
