QUOTE(rotloi @ Feb 8 2018, 03:37 PM) they also get capital investment from firm i see. but what does the investment profit though? usually mobile games gain money from ads or paid apps for profit. but since Pokemon GO apps is already free and there no ads in it.

True it's actually cheaper and more environmentally friendly too. Versus driving around looking for gyms to take down. Only to have spoofer kick you 5 minutes later. QUOTE(felixmask @ Feb 11 2018, 09:51 AM) Company sponsor for the gym stop . Example Aeon Yeah and Japan got lots of sponsorship like McDonald, Softbank etc..

The game has a great potential in the market. During the start of it's campaign until the launching, the game become famous from different countries in the world. They know their targets and the game is known before on different platforms. Imagine if there are billions of users that played it and 1% only purchased for 1$, how much money do they got? 10M$
The Pokemon GO fever lives until now but most of players were quit like me because of the hackers. But there are still players that are willing to purchase from them. Even old games makes money so why not Pokemon GO which was launched 2-3 years ago?

As a senior member of Pokemon Group says : Play to entertain yourself ,.Not to accomodate others
The boxes are very worth while now. Compared to 6 months ago. And they have sale almost every 2 weeks. I usually spend RM60 getting 2x ultra box and play for 1.5 month no need to buy anything else . By then my 50 coins everyday will be enough to get another box.
Not bad la for a game that makes you socialize a bit more and make new friends .

one unker i was raiding with says Niantic probably owes more to flyers in this neck of woods... after all whats the fun of flying and raiding if you can only do i once a day with free pass.. they probably are buying passes by the buckeloads... which is why, they will not seriously ban spoofing.. just that unker theory..

It's played by mostly adults... And auntie uncle's that have more financial freedom. Alot of them won't hesitate to spend on the game.

Gym will only give you 50 coins max per day.
Will take long time to accumulate enough to buy enough important items ...
As the experience increases, it is more difficult to level up ...
Some people will purchase the coins to move faster ahead ...
