Dont just put wrong wrong wrong. State your reason. Your post is counted as spam.

Remember, the EF-S lens cannot be mounted on 1D bodies tongue.gif

Let's just say that my reply would involve the 16-35 L lens (both the Mk I & II). My answer stops there, assuming that g88 is envisioning it on a 1.6x (or 1.3x, even)sensor. If NOT (i.e. full frame), then you have the 24-70 L lens to contend with (17 - 55mm with 1.6 crop, go figure), among other things.

Okay I'm tired of explaining this. This is just to justify that it wasn't spam. End.

I am the actual user for about a year.

So far only 3 comments for this lense; GENG! GENG! GENG!

At dark sense, it allow me to do 1/6 at f2.8 and I have all shots sharp. Not many lenses can do these as far as my knowledge concern.

As comparison, last time I did 1/8 with my ex-16-36L, but only 1~2 out of 10 is ok.

I could really say this magical lense extend my physical limitation.... Cool... thumbup.gif

notworthy.gif the f2.8 really is a good point but the price is one big blocking factor.

Agree on the Tamron alternative but this lens also has its weakness on the wide end. With the cheaper price, it should worth a look though.

Tamron no IS, you cannot do 1/8 handheld without IS.

RM5k you can get a body with IS from some other manufacturers...
But any fast lens from any manufacturer is expensive, for sure.
