I'm also reaching third year on my Zeiss photofusion, got from Focus point. My friend and I also faced the same issue of coating scratches, we don't really take care of our glasses that well (drop it on the ground, wash with normal soap) but wipe with microfibre most of the time, and both of us also have coating failure near the nose area (not sure is caused by oily skin or not). Due for lens changing, still deciding which brand to go for next. Probably ditching photofusion as it gives a greyish tint (and expensive)but very versatile if going in and outdoors a lot.
*I remember there was a eyewear shop owner telling me to shy away from Hoya due to weak coatings about 7-8 years ago, probably things are a lot different now
