I fell from a platform and my iPhone X OLED display cracked.  "Liquid" came out and "blacken" my screen (bottom right corner) bit-by-bit since 2 weeks ago.  Can anyone recommend a reliable repairer in KL or Penang? Thank you.

I know this question has been asked before. but should i get the iPhone X or wait for the new iPhone (11?) set to be released circa September 2018? Since SST is looming in, the previous models' pricing could even go up then? Thoughts?
*
I would wait for the newer models as it is so close to launch already nod.gif

Somehow I get the feeling more people will upgrade this round so Malaysia might get the new iPhones later.
*
I guess most ppl will upgrade to the "cheaper" version of the iPhone this year.
The "Plus" model might not be that hot, as naturally the price tag will be very high

Any iPhone X users here that switched from the iPhone 8 Plus?

I'm considering sidegrading to the iPhone X since the iPhone XS doesn't seem to boast too many notable improvements over the X.

I have both phones, main difference you will notice is the battery life where the iPhone 8 Plus have a better battery life compared to the X.

Also in the beginning, you will find the FaceID to be more of a hassle compared to the iPhone 8 Plus. Previously when you want to see notifications on the iP8+, you just need to put your finger on the home button to unlock, but on the iPX you have to hover your face in front of the phone screen to unlock just to see the notifications.

It was a hassle for me in the beginning, but after using the iPX for so long now I got used to it already

I got used to the X after just a couple of weeks. When I traded it with my wife's 8 Plus after a couple of months i kept looking at the 8 Plus and wondering why it doesn't unlock laugh.gif
*
I also facing this problem biggrin.gif Forget to use the home button to unlock. Keep trying to swipe up to unlock

Guys if buy iPhone X from sg , can use at malaysia right ?
*
Yes can nod.gif

Only "problem" will be warranty claim as sometimes it is a hit and miss in Malaysia where the AASP will reject your warranty claim bcos it is not Malaysia Set.
Other than the warranty "problem", should be good to go

Yup unless die die need 2 sim card , can option with esim.
*
At first when i heard Dual Sim, I was like finally Apple has dual sim option and I no need have 2 phones d rclxm9.gif
And then they announced as 1 sim card and 1 eSim sweat.gif
So need to get China set if wanted dual physical sim, unless Maxis decides to implement eSim for phones
