I had Brooks Pure Cadence years back. Almost 5 years maybe. Now need to hunt a new one. Brooks or Asics will have better range for flat foot. Nike/Adidas not so much.

You can try Asic Kayano. Those are legendary.

ASICS GT-2000 5/6 RM499 it's not as much cushion as the kayano but still a very good running shoes.
GT-2000 5 using Fluidride midsole. Fluidride is 2 layers midsole which are SpEva (bounce) on top and Solyte (absorb impact) at bottom .
GT-2000 6 is 1 layer midsole called Flyteform . Flyteform is a combination of fiber organic and EVA. It is super light 55% lighter than standard EVA and it can bounce back to 90% of its original shape. Both shoes have Dynamic Duomax arch support for overpronation.

Go for stability

I run comfortably with Nike Lunarglide
I had 3 all of them.

Nowadays I took a leap of faith with Hoka Clifton3, neutral, but cushioning is really great.

Anyway, long distance?
