QUOTE(Eithanius @ Feb 5 2018, 11:22 AM) On iOS 11, under Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Cellular Data Network FYI...Which one should I key in...? Cellular Data or LTE Setup...? [attachmentid=9570449] And previously there was an unsigned profile for iOS specifically for unifi mobile. After restoring my iPhone, there's no option to reinstall that profile again. Where can I download that profile and what does it do...? https://www.apnsettings.org/malaysia/webe-apn-settings/ |

I have 5 SIMs collected at mothership, no need to wait and it'll accept same password immediately...
The other 15 SIMs via RM10.60 delivery needs "around" 10 minutes to wait regardless of WiFi or hotspot or LTE.... |

QUOTE(tympg @ Feb 7 2018, 06:22 PM) Calling Malaysian 1-300 numbers is charged at 15sen / min PPU. Those of you thinking of resetting the 90-day active countdown by calling IDD calls can also consider calling a local 1-300 number as an option. Thanks for the confirmation....Easy-to-remember numbers include McDonald's (1-300-13 13 00) and Tesco (1-300-13 13 13). » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(utusan@gmail @ Feb 7 2018, 07:32 PM) Need clarification... If 1MB/day, meaning we are using 90MB for 90 days "active". if i buy add on for internet 8GB High-speed. Data had no expired date? Let say I used 1mb per day... So i had 8000 day without top up? And if we decided not to "keep active" using the three (3) rules in the T&C, the end result is on day 91, the remaining data (ie. 7GB++) will be "confiscated" and the line (or account) will be deactivated/"terminated". There's no "grace period" unlike other prepaid plans. This post has been edited by azhar75: Feb 7 2018, 08:36 PM |

QUOTE(sleever @ Feb 7 2018, 08:14 PM) Hi guys I just bought a 4G usb broadband that can put the unifi mobile sim in it. My problem is I cant seem to get the internet connection from it, when I put the sim back on my phone it works fine (already added APN setting on my phone). Is there any settings that I need to know? 1) Check your modem whether support Band 5/38/40.Note: I've tried to put my celcom sim card in the broadband and it works just fine. 2) Check the APN in the modem interface/settings. 3) If the modem does not support Band 5/38/40, it might have used up all the 50MB 3G network which uses Celcom network under Band 1 (2100MHz) and Band 8 (900MHz). As for me, I don't need modem coz my LeMoto P2 is the modem by itself...just turn on the hotspot in any Android smartphones.... This post has been edited by azhar75: Feb 7 2018, 08:33 PM |

QUOTE(sleever @ Feb 8 2018, 12:32 AM) Ok I really need help regarding this settings. When I login to my usb broadband modem settings menu, after inserting the Unifi mobile sim it detects as "Celcom", even though I already set the APN to "unifi". I've set everything else in Auto. When I put my Celcom sim card it works fine (can browse Internet), but when I insert the Unifi sim it doesn't work at all (Got Wifi but no internet). Please help. My broadband modem Huawei model E8372. Very unfortunate... Huawei E3872 does not support Band 5 (FDD 850MHz), Band 38 (TDD 2600MHz), and Band 40 (TDD 2300MHz). Therefore, it only connects to Celcom network which requires 3G (UMTS and HSPA) data quota. Our free 2GB is only for 4G LTE Band 5/38/40.» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Looks like you have to rely on your phone to use the free 20GB LTE Band 5/38/40... hotspot on-the-go... QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Feb 9 2018, 06:52 AM) make sure you all dial local 1-300 or others number to deduct the credit, not the add on min, else later you risk the whole line terminated... I'm on my 15th SIM... No need to worry loosing the account(s) and no intention to stay with unifi@mobile ...not going to maintain all 20 SIMs...i would still prefer to dial IDD as it won't deduct the add on anyway But for other subscribers, ensure to put into your calendar the 89th day as "RELOAD mobile@unifi" and on the next "sets" of 89th day to start making PPU chargeable usage(s).... |
