QUOTE(Amedion @ Jan 24 2008, 09:30 AM)
I also wanna ask the same question too ..
Budget RM 200 ..
Rig is AMD 4000+, 2gb DDR2 Ram, Biostar T550, Galaxy 7300GT, 1 DVDRW, 1 HDD

Compare Abcel e2 510w, Cooler Master Extreme Power 500w and Raptoxx 550w true power.. Which is better?
*
Acbel E2 510W will be the right choice. thumbup.gif
Over 30A for the dual 12V rails.

QUOTE(§layerXT @ Jan 24 2008, 12:21 PM)
I would go for Acbel e2 510W thumbup.gif Sometimes this is quite subjective. U need to read reviews. But for below RM300 its nothing much. I prefer Silverstone strider ST500 more than that.
*
Yup,Acbel E2 510W is a great psu.Lifetime warranty if i am not mistaken.
QUOTE(a1098113 @ Jan 24 2008, 10:26 PM)
@amedion and some ppl with budget issues

for rm200 and below, i would strongly suggest silverstone st400. Its an excellent psu for the money at this range. At rm400 below, the options are plenty like stated above by bro clawy and myself, just dont bother getting extreme power psus like raptox(hmm) or cm(only extreme power). Just dont bother..
*
You're true.Don't ever believe CM extreme power. Its not really real for most of the (extreme power).

I'll go for PC P & C. That's the real deal. I've read many revies and forums out there like from Tom's Hardware, Overclockers Club, Real Overclock, AnandTech, Hexus and so on.. and i believe PC P & C already proved their credential. BTW, i luv one article/review from AnandTech regarding 'The Best PSU in 2007'. It goes to 'PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750 QUAD (Red Colour)' after they tested 60 PSUs from various brand. This PC P & C got Gold Editor's Choice, the silver go to Antec TruePower Quattro 850 and OCZ ProXStream 1000 while Seasonic S12II managed to grab the bronze. Full article as the link below...

thats where silverstone thrives. The distro interasia is pretty good. I like the corsair too, but because of this issue i went for the st56f rev3.1 instead.
*
Ok bro, whats your personal conclusions about the OP650.

haha no opinions at the moment, well its an olympia engine, should be alright. no comments just yet bro, i would go for the zeus series. It has a server core.
*
Well,its great IMO,i mean the one that bro shawty sell.But i have to make a pass.because......................... smile.gif

QUOTE(lehteck @ Mar 4 2008, 11:10 PM)
OP series and corsair also good hahaha:P

i also targetting for hx520 now:)

waiting new shipment in only@
*
Nice power supply gonna get bro.I think i will give a Corsair a try later.
After all problems,reviews,opinions.........I think,my final choice of power supply will be the PC power & cooling 610W only.IMO,its cheap, reliable as been mentioned by some other user (reviews).

PC power & cooling
cons - non modular,no 120mm fans,single-rail.
pros - 1st tier,powerful single 12V@49A.

Corsair HX620
cons - Availability,2nd tier.
pros - Modular,cheap for a good performance,quad-rails,powerful.

Thats what i learned in this two months of review. notworthy.gif
