My son will be flying back today from Penang to KLIA and then to another AA connecting flight.

We bought the 20 kg luggage allowance. Problem is, he has about 2 hrs at KLIA2 to get his bag and check in.

AA
Is that sufficient time to collect and check in at KLIA2?
He is unfamiliar with KLIA2.

BB
Is it possible to hand carry the bag instead of check in though we have paid for the 20 kg allowance? Anyone here has done that?

CC
Other option?

Thanks.

There's nothing wrong with bought and not use. just money wasted. as long as the bags is not too heavy for hand carry.

Thanks.

Hand carry will mean paying for the 20 kg, ie paying twice. Trying to avoid that.

He was more resourceful than I thought. He managed to check in with the bag 1 hr before the flight.
