Checkin online early, and you can pick your seats for free. Light meal on outbound flight. Full meal on inbound flight. Can request for beer and wine. Free on board entertainment. Widebody jet. Have not encountered any serious delays yet, but I am sure their recovery plans will be a lot better than AA. Definitely a better flight experience, for me, compared to AA.

Arrive CGK late evening. If traffic to city is ok, still got time to party.

Curious, if you guys change flight to another day (given an option by them just like in Kansai case), do you have to buy the flight on another day on your own and pay on your own first? And claim back later?

Or you have to arrange with them through the phone or something?

Do they change for you (at no cost) the return flight as well? Since our itinerary and plans have been disrupted? 

Or they just change for the cancelled departing flight from Malaysia to the intended destination?

So, that means return flight can be changed too (free of charge) although AirAsia did not cancel the return flight in the first place?
